These boots are FAR more comfortable than the ones that go half way up your leg. They are all day comfortable. Perfect for walking through a little mud, wet grass or using them on a fishing boat. I wish I got them sooner.
Came here to review immediately after trying them on. Love them. Currently wearing them. If you're between sizes the size up will fit perfectly. I'm an 8.5, bought a 9. Fit great with your standard wool hiking sock and just enough room left over for a heavier wool sock for colder temps. Little tight at the ankle getting on and off at first but I imagine this will break in over time and not a deal breaker.
The boots are excellent quality and I’m sure they will last a long time. They are a challenge to get on and off. I would suggest ordering 1/2 to a full size big.
These boots were the most comfortable and sturdy of all the deck boots I've had, however within the first 4 months the toe box split. I filed a warranty claim with Simms and that process went smooth with a new pair being shipped. Those also only lasted about 4 months.
My son has these that I bought for him for work. He wears them daily. He works at a car wash. He says they are comfortable but he has only had them 8 months and they have ripped in 2 spots. Not happy with they are ripping out after less than a year for something so expensive.
These boots are great for dog walking, but I brought them for bank fishing. They are working out better than imagined.
I wore these boots fishing in Alaska and absolutely love them! I like the lower profile and I wear arch supports and they worked well with these boots. I highly recommend!
