I wear a size 12 boot so I ordered the 13. I have LL Bean waders with the booties, 2 pairs of socks, one thin and one thick and these fit fine. Still a little room to wiggle the toes. They seem very solid and have a stiff sole. I haven't fished in them yet but they seem good to go.
I needed to replace my ancient waders and boots and decided to bargain shop. I got cheap waders and I think I got what I paid for. I found these boots from a well-known company for a similar price to what I pictured to be lower-quality items, so I chose them. Glad I did. They are great. great materials and craftsmanship and the design makes them easy to put on/take off, and they have been great on every surface so far. While I may replace my cheap waders with something nicer, I think these boots will last a long time and keep me happy, and avoid the need to spend hundreds of dollars buying "high-end" boots.
Haven’t use the boots yet but I have tried them on with my simm waders I wear size 10 shoes but got size 11 so I had room for the waders. Fits great and they seem like they are made really well. Can’t wait to use them.Shipping took longer than I thought but so far they were worth the wait.
Shoes are heavy but really good fit. I like the comfort and style.
Size up for stocking foot waders. I wear a 10 and ordered an 11 and they fit great! They fit well without waders too, just have to lace them a bit tighter. Rubber sole grips surprisingly well on mossy rocks. Good purchase! Now I look like a better angler than I actually am!
First off every single one of these reviewers who is complaining that these are heavy must have started off with cheap tennis shoes. When you wear a quality good boot the majority of the time they are heavy. That said I have a pair of size 11s and they are about 3.5lbsI normally wear a size 10 in a work boot I upped the size to an 11 and they fit amazing. I wear these with stocking foot waders.
These seem like good boots but I wish I had gone with my gut and purchased the felt sole instead. The rubber sole is no good at all in shallow water on mossy rocks. Borderline unsafe, slipping and falling constantly. Be careful.
