Great zero drop shoe for cross training and barefoot running
Well made easier to put on version of the Vibram Five Fingers (aka zero drop toe shoes) that was at the forefront of barefoot running/training.This is a wide model, but I fit it fine even though I don't normally wear wide fit shoes (usually Standard fits fine). The added benefit of wide shoe in this model is the wider toe box allow you to have better toe splay (ie your toes aren't crammed together) which is very important in a zero drop shoe.It comes with a removable footbed, which you can take out to make these true zero drop. They are cushy and very comfortable to run and do basic cross training in. There is a decent amount of cushioning where this may not be suitable for lifting or exercises where you need more stability.The minimalistic approach bring you close to a barefoot experience while still offering your feet a basic level of protection against things you might step on. Sole provides solid traction beneath the foot and lacing system provides a good lockdown feel without any heel slip.

So very comfortable
I had never heard of zero drop shoes before but researched a bit and found that they promote a more balanced stride and mimic walking barefoot. As I’m having balance issues as I get older, it sounded like these running shoes (even though I don’t run) were a good choice for me. These shoes are fantastically comfortable! The rest of my shoes are going to start feeling left out. I appreciate the wide toe box, as I have wide feet and my toes often feel squished in other shoes. I knew these were men’s shoes, but I liked the way they looked and the description sounded like what I needed/wanted, so I ordered them anyway. I wear a 9 in women’s shoes generally, so I ordered these zero drop men’s shoes in a 7, and they fit perfectly. I got the black shoes, so they go with almost everything I'm wearing. I am so very happy with these quality shoes, with lots of room for toes and great cushion on the bottoms.
