Very comfotable old school skate shoes
It's hard to find good classic-looking skate shoes that are both affordable and well-made these days but these shoes are it. I used to skate back in the day and wore mostly Vans and Airwalks, but now I'm a middle-aged fat man who mostly just wears them for comfort and nostalgia. I'd seen this brand around but never tried them before but I'm really glad I did. I'm heavy now and not just any shoe will work for me but these hold up extremely well and are very comfortable for walking, even long distances. I'm rough on the soles and insoles of shoes because of my weight but these have held up very well so far and I've owned them for nearly a year. I usually have to replace factory insoles because they don't hold up for me but these were perfect right out of the box and have lasted. I also have a very wide foot and was worried that these didn't come in wide sizes, because even though skate shoes usually run wide, some brands still don't fit me well, but these fit better than some wide-sized shoes I've had. Plenty or room in the toebox and the footbed is well wide enough to support my foot and arch without pinching or overrunning. While I don't skate anymore and can't attest to their performance as skate shoes, I've no doubt they'd hold up pretty well, as the soles are well-made, the stitching is very strong, and the support they offer is very good. Even after a year of wear the soles are still firmly attached and barely worn. I'd pit them against any more expensive brands like Etnies and Lakai, especially for their price. I'll definitely buy more from this brand when these wear out.
