Wonderful Comfort
Fantastic shoe! Extremely comfortable. I keep buying them because I walk over 10k steps a day and they don't last more than a few months. Wish they were cheaper......

Fantastic shoe! Extremely comfortable. I keep buying them because I walk over 10k steps a day and they don't last more than a few months. Wish they were cheaper......
I love this shoe; it gives me great support when I am walking or standing for long periods of time. I also really like the color; it goes with most everything. A person buying this, or other Sketchers shoe needs to be sure of the width as styles come in different widths. In this shoe style, the D'Lux Walker Pensive Oxford, it comes in a relaxed fit, which usually works for me but in this particular style I need the extra wide in order for it to fit right. It seems to mold to my foot as I walkand as I said it is extremely comfortable and wears well. The price on got on Amazon was $20 - $25 cheaper than buying it on the Sketchers site or most others for that matter.
The cushioning is excellent, and they feel soft even after several hours of wear. Good quality and perfect for everyday wear.
I had tried the 13 Wide versions of these shoes for a day and quickly realized they were too big and I couldn’t live with the cost of the shoes and slip around in them like I was. Historically I have had to buy 14s instead of 13s to get a little more room but I’ve found some shoe companies like Sketchers have enough room in their 13s for my toes to.l be comfortable. I ordered a normal 13 size and exchanged my shoes. After walking 5 miles in them I find them plenty comfy in the soles but the slip on form is a bit of a problem for stability. Because it’s all elastic, the shoe slides around still despite not being a wide variant. If I could tie these shoes they’d probably be perfect for what I need them to be. I’m debating what to do here - I may return them but I want to give them 1 more walk to see if maybe the inserts give a little and let my feet settle better.Keep in mind, I bought a similar style shoe from Costco 6 months ago (also Sketcher’s) and while they’re not quite as good looking or absorbent in the sole, the shoe fits very well. These just have a touch too much movement at first so I’m going to think about whether I can keep them. If they were more stable I’d no doubt have my favorite walking shoe here.
Got these for my 65year old husband who walks on paved roads an average of 3-4 miles daily after dinner. He’s absolutely thrilled with them! He has very wide feet (EEEE) and he tells me these fit perfectly. He says they’re very light in weight but still supportive and every step is cushioned as if his feet were wrapped in several layers of bubble wrap. He also says the shoes seem to help him keep a very brisk walking pace which has resulted in an average of 2 minutes off his mile time. I was concerned about there not being laces to tie but he assures me the shoes don’t slop around on feet at all…. and the traction they provide is outstanding. He’s already asked me to order the same shoes in light grey for summer walking in shorts with white socks.
These are probably the most comfortable shoes I own. Easy to put on and off. The soles seem wear out faster than other shoes I've owned making traction in wet conditions tricky (maybe because I wear them more) - but the main part of the shoe still looks new. True to size.
Only shoe my husband will wear..and he has bad feet and he says this are most comfortable
