Best work boot I’ve had

I realize I didn’t write a review for these, memory isn’t what it used to be:) Now they are not available under this seller but, if you can find the real ones and not knock offs buy them! Why? Because I’m going on 15 years for my first pair. I bought these because I wasn’t sure I wouldn’t be able to find them agin. After 13 years some of the rubber started to separate but a little “oily super glue” and they are good to go.

This show is comfortable and your ankle does not slide out because this is a high top in comparison to the low cut version. The memory foam sole is also an added plus because it makes the shoe more comfortable and wearable all day. Because this shoe is a high top and if you are wearing low cut socks you will sweat in them which may cause the shoe to stink up. From my experience the shoe can rip off some skin from the back ankle from wearing low cut socks. There is also adhesive that may leak between the middle part of the shoe as well. I bought the low cut and it did this and I exchanged the low cut for the high top and the high top just started leaking adhesive. I do not know what is causing the leakage but it is an inconvenience which is why I gave it 4 stars. The leakage may cause water to seep into it and destroy the shoe in the future because if it is leaking outside I am sure water can also get inside the opening of the leak.

Great work boot that won't hurt your wallet!

I always like Skechers. I like the way they look. My foot is also on the wide side. They don't hurt my feet or make them feel "squished" like most other brands do. I now needed to buy a steel toe shoe for work. I was reading some of the other comments and it seemed to lean more to they weren't made well for a work shoe/boot. I looked at Timberland's & other highly rated shoes. I went to a Skechers store and tried these on. I fell in love immediately. They were so comfortable. They have the gel inserts & were not as heavy as I expected for a steel toe boot. I used them on the first day of a new job without breaking them in. My feet never got tired or felt uncomfortable. They are well made & look good! More than few people mentioned they looked great & inquired where I bought them. And the price won't hurt you. I bought them on Amazon for $70 when I had a $150 budget. Money well spent.

The snug, secure fitting can't be praised enough. The memory foam insert inside is top quality, easily a $20 pair of separates if you were to buy them. These are made well to last a long time. I unload trucks for a living, warehouse work, trust me, these come in handy. Takes a day to break in the steel toe, and get the boots 100% used to your foot.Telling you, I'd sleep in these things if I could. I've been trading boots in a out for years and years. These are worth every single damn penny.The lacing and ankle support really adds to the secure fitting of the boot, and gives you comfort and support during the day. These boots cannot be praised enough for the toughness and comfort, never quits on you. Feet feel like they've been massaged all day, instead of worn out.

Only heel is memory foam

I assumed that the entire insole would be memory foam, turns out it's only for the heel. The rest of the insole is rock hard. These are nothing like the insoles for the shoes. I guess when I read memory foam, I figured it would be the same as the shoes. Instantly returned these boots when I discovered that.
