8 year old daughters love them! Only had a little under 1 week to break them in before spending a full day and evening at Universal Studios (a lot of walking from 9am-9pm) and had ZERO complaints about feet discomfort. Usually new shoes come with some discomfort while breaking them in but these were GREAT! Very stylish as well and the color is beautiful (has a little sparkle in sunlight).

Cute and fairly sturdy but not so washing machine washable

They're super cute and really pretty, fairly sturdy. I don't believe they would withstand the washer like they advertise and that's a bit annoying since they pushed that benefit pretty hard. My daughter has only had them 4 weeks, has 2 other pairs of shoes she rotates with these, and already they look like the soles are separating.
