Magical lights and music!
These shoes are super cute and sparkly with beautiful colors. The wings light up when stomping, and they also play a "magical" sound when either the button on the back side of the shoe is pressed, or when a magnet is waved over the star symbol on the front of the shoes. There's a fairy wand included with a magnet on the end that can activate the sounds.The button on the back side can also be held down for 3 seconds to disable the lights that go off with movement, but they DON'T disable the sound that activates with the magnet. I wish it could completely turn off all the bells and whistles for peace of mind! The sound isn't super loud, but it's loud enough to be heard from a distance, and can definitely get annoying after a while.Another downside is that this thing sheds glitter like crazy, seemingly much more than other Twinkle Toes shoes. It's also stiffer and heavier than regular tennis shoes with not a ton of support, but there's enough padding on the sides to make it more comfortable. They seem a bit roomier than other shoes of the same size. There's an opening for the speaker so I definitely wouldn't get these wet or even wear them out on a rainy day.Despite the downsides, the overall quality is high and I can't imagine anyone wouldn't love these for how over-the-top magical they are!

Malfunction x2
Bought 2 pairs of these shoes because the first one started malfunctioning: constantly sparkling and making a ringing sound and it would not stop. Then the second one malfunctioned in the same way. Very disappointed one shoe does not light up anymore as it took days to wear down the battery/noise. Still very pretty shoes

Back to School Fave
My first grader saw and loved these. She is into all things sparkly and glittery so these were right up her alley. Add that they light up and she was in heaven.She says they are comfortable. She’s in them every day for multiple hours a day as they are her “favorite school shoes”.I like the lights have the option of being turned off so as not to be a distraction in the classroom ( school actually sent out a school wide email requesting this feature last school year so that’s a plus).For the price and the wear that she has been getting out of these shoes, I recommend.
