Hands down.! One of the best pair of work boots I have ever owned. I was born with a partial clubfoot therefore I should know. Enough said.
I have a difficult to fit foot and need for wide toe-box area. These boots in 10.5 W fit me perfectly when no other has. They are light-weight yet extremely comfortable. I have worn them on all day-treks through trails in Iceland (in Summer), and elsewhere and taken then in rain , waded across rivers in them and found them to be 100% waterproof as advertised., keeping my wool socks completely dry. Tread and sole are very rigid giving a strong sense of stability and security when moving in difficult places or terrain. I have had a few boots and tried many much more expensive boots. I got these 2nd hand through Amazon Warehouse for a steal, and they are by far the best boots I have every owned. They are not too hot, they breathe, but they are not insulated, so not free extremely cold climates. I would not venture to think they would be good for that. But for everything I would do that is semi-hard core, they are awesome. After weeks of daily pounding, mud, water rain, snow, ice, rocks and trail, they hardly look the worse for the wear. I did get the Skechers water protector spray for an extra level/barrior of protectant since I was in the rain and water daily with these things.
I bought this boots from Amazon back in May 2020. I mainly use to them for work or snowy and rainy weather. They hold up very well. They are also water proof and i tested it. My feet stays dry even if i stepped in big puddles of water. They are really comfortable on my feet and they are nice and roomy as well. I like boots that have a good amount of room in them plus i have wide feet so these were perfect. I would recommend this boots to anybody that want shoes that are comfortable and stylish. I have gotten compliments on them as well.
Looked at lots of boots online before deciding to buy these and I'm very happy with them so far. Great for winter hiking. Not as much insulation as some of the more hardcore winter boots, but I wanted something that would be good for more than just cold snowy winter days. Also a great deal at just over $60. A lot of the other boots I checked out were in the 100-130 range.I've had them for a couple weeks now and they've done great walking the dog, going on hikes in the snow, and shoveling the driveway. I'm surprised at how warm they are. I was out shoveling the driveway with temps in the teens for about an hour and my feet didn't get cold. Not sure how they would do for standing still, but for hiking, outdoor chores etc they have kept my feet warm with just regular socks when I'm moving around.I haven't really tested how waterproof they are. The stay dry inside when the snow melts on the outside but I haven't walked through any water to really test the limits of the waterproof lining.Fit: I wear an 11 in Adidas for reference. The 11s I got were a little bit short. My toes were not right up against the end but pretty close so I went with 11.5. With 11.5 the length was great, enough room so I could wear some thick socks if needed. Maybe a hair wide, but I have narrow feet. About my only criticism is there's not much of an arch. However with the memory foam insoles and break-in process, the bottom is starting to form to the contour of my feet. Will see about reliability. I only use them for walking the dog, outdoor chores and hiking. What I'd consider moderate to light use, and they will most likely be stored away for the warmer months. Hoping I can get a couple years out of them, we shall see....
Comfortable sturdy and keep my feet drying any weather
These shoes look stylish, and these shoes are well built. But at the same time these shoes can lack comfort(to the point where your feet are in extreme pain). But let me explain why: within the structure of these shoes are metal that is located around the lower tongue area. Covered metal that comes in direct contact with your feet. In which as you walk that metal will continuously touch your feet, and leave your feet beaten & bruised after a short walk. But this particular shoe model hasn't always had this major flaw. For this is my third pair of this exact pair of shoes. In which the other pairs also brought a similar problem, but it didn't last no longer than perhaps a few weeks(as the shoes were broken in). But this last pair took months before I could break them in(to stop the extreme foot pain). I mean months of not just wearing them, but also months of me trying to expand the width of the front of the shoes(with shoe expanders, and etc.)But here's the reason as to why these model of shoes have converted into less comfortable shoes: Skechers remade these shoes by making them more narrow in the front. Which is probably their way of saving money. But anyway by them doing that the metal within the structure of shoes are in more contact with your feet. Which causes more discomfort, and it makes it harder to stretch them out of that discomfort. But once you break these shoes in you have strong beautiful shoes that are no longer painful.
