Nice shoes, but.

A very nice quality leather shoe. Very comfortable sole. I noticed the heel area that hits the back of your feet. Wish they had some padding up top. The shoe is not real tight on me so it's not much of a problem but I haven't walked long distances in them yet. Can't beat the price though.

Price was Low but, the Quality High

I always prefer RF (relaxed fit) Size 12 M Love the color being different and the fit is great... a little extra room in the toe box appreciated. There was a Sketcher shoe I liked and the sales person suggested I try Wide because it didn't come in the RF.... no way that worked. So, I pretty much look for RF all the time now. Best thing Sketcher designers have done in my book.

Comfortable and Look Good

I already have this exact same pair of Sketchers bought locally so I am familiar with them and got to try them on for fit before buying. As they are no longer carried locally I was pleased to find them on Amazon so I ordered another pair. A repeat customer is probably the highest compliment a product can have.Be Aware, they are relaxed fit and very comfortable from the start BUT the sizing runs small. I normally wear a size 11.5 in dress and athletic shoes, but I wear a size 10 in these Sketchers for use without socks in the summer. For wearing socks size up a half size depending on sock thickness. I have a similar pair of Sketchers in my normal size 11.5 and they are too long for normal wear. I use them with socks to slip into for short trips outside to the mail box, etc. Too loose for wearing any length of time. Remember this if you order these shoes.I recommend these shoes for casual and comfortable wear which look good with jeans or cargo pants.

These feel good, until you walk around in them

I have a fairly large foot, size 14 .... very wide. I bought size 14 extra wide in these shoes. The actual size and fit was good in fact I'd say very good. This is rare for me so I was happy when I initially got them. I was happy until I wore them for about 5 hours at a work related dinner / fund raising event. At this event I was "working", moderately. At the end of the event on my drive home my heal was hurting so I took off the shoes to drive home. I had a large blister on the back of both of my feet at my Achilles tendon area.I figured the shoes were new and just needed a little time to break in. These things happen, not a huge deal. I decided to wear them about 5 days later after my blisters mostly healed up. Knowing they were prone to giving me blisters I decided to only wear them for a half day at work and wore thick cotton athletic socks. I wore them until lunch time then switched to another pair of shoes. I still got blisters.I wore them again the following week. This time I put bandaids on my Achilles tendon area, under a thick pair of socks, again I planned to take them off at lunch time. My goal being to break them in so they would stop causing blisters and pain. Nope. They still gave me blisters.Ok, fine, I decided to try them again. I put on bandaids, thick socks, and put a strip of duct tape on the back edge of the shoe where they were rubbing. Nope. They still gave me blisters.So these shoes feel good on your foot, as long as you don't walk with them on. At this point I plan to just use these as house slippers and not walk much with them on. I think they will make pretty good house slippers. I needed some house slippers anyway so I'm not upset about that. However, fair warning, if you plan to use these to walk around in I'd avoid these. If you want something to just slip on to take a few steps to the kitchen they are fine.
