Very comfortable and true to size.
I had bought these in black a few years ago and with the pandemic and working from home, I've worn them A LOT. Like SO much. They are holding up great, but I figured I should get a tan pair before they stop making them and to make them both last longer. Great sole support (SO many slippers have flimsy soles, these are sturdy). They are super comfy and don't really stain (not real suede which stains easily). They are microfiber ultra-suede (or something like that) and clean easily. Would definitely recommend.
I was a Marine, a security guard, and a field service computer tech. I spent a LOT of time on my feet.Nerve problems coupled with a calcium buildup on my left foot won't let me go barefooted any more (my preferred way of mobility inside the house).I got these because I have 2 pairs of Skechers dock shoes (*unbelievably comfortable*) and like the brand. The slippers are the tiniest bit tight-fitting (inside top-to-sole) but are fine lengthwise. The sole is a little stiff for a houseshoe. The lining does keep my feet the right temp and I'm pretty sure they'll stay warm this winter. Thanks for reading. Have a great day!
The slipper fits snugly, despite being billed as a size above my shoe size. I'd say go large when ordering. The back behind-the-heel is actually well-constructed, and not prone to being stomped down. The sole is thick and durable, which I really appreciate since that's the part that generally wears out first for me. I can venture outside to check on plants or the bbq or whatever, even if there's dew on the grass. Unless they change the construction, I'll be buying these again whenever my current pair gives out, which seems a long while in the future.
These slippers are well made and true to size. They are super soft. It's like walking on a cloud. After a long day of wearing shoes. I can't wait to get home and put these on. They feel amazing.
I wear a size 10 in everything, including sneakers, work boots, high tops, slides and mules, and other Skechers shoes. These house slippers in size 10 fit like a 9.5, maybe even a 9. They're very short and narrow in the toe box (and I have a narrow foot), making for a feeling of relief when I remove them. I'm on the fence whether to keep them...My best guess is, they were designed for wearing sockless -- thus the furry lining -- and the sizing was fudged to account for that. They do fit closer to what a 10 should feel like if I remove my socks. Sizing should be a constant, with the wearer then able to choose which size is appropriate for what thickness sock, or lack thereof, to wear with them.My other issue is, they're not as comfortable as I expected. They lack that cloud-like plushness of Skechers walking shoes, instead feeling basically like any ol' moccasin. Well, a secondary issue is, with socks they don't slide off with a quick flick, instead having to push the heel off with the other foot, and without socks they tend to be too grippy against moist skin to slip into easily. There's not quite a happy medium anywhere.
These slippers are the most functional and comfortable slippers I have ever owned. I wear them every day. These work perfectly as traditional house slippers, but they would also be great for a casual day or running errands. I am considering purchasing a second pair to wear outside the home. For anyone concerned about the expense of these slippers, you will not regret purchasing these. Get them!
