Great shoes!
I've been a Skechers fan for a while because through college I thought they were the toughest shoes I'd ever owned and I have owned many brands. Now, I'm not "into" shoes (I'm a tech head!), I mean that they aren't a fashion or status statement for me, although like some, I went through that phase at some point where I wanted $200 shoes. Those days are well and gone. Now I just need them to be functional, comfortable and durable. That being said, my son is 11 and has a bunch of shoes but wears the heck out of the 1 or 2 he really likes....he only steps into another if we recommend it so he wears shoes down really really quickly. They often develop holes or look all frayed out before he needs the next size. Like me, he's not into brands or how much they cost, he's all about how comfortable they are and how they look. We've tested him on a bunch of brands and he seems to stick to Nike and Skechers so I got him these, 2 other pairs of Skechers and 2 other brands and yup! He prefers and wears these at least 3 times weekly for school, he LOVES them and with that, they haven't worn down at all. I'm teaching him to sort of clean them off just so they hopefully last a while, though his feet seem to be growing pretty quickly. We have no doubt that this will last even beyond him outgrowing it. He also seems to be preferential to Skechers as well, as he barely ever wears the other brands I bought. These are solid shoes and they look nice to...'boot'!. . .I'll show myself out.
It seems like Skechers make the most comfortable shoes and these are no different. I was a little worried when Amazon recommended size 9, when I usually opt for 9.5, but the size 9 shoes fit great. They were a great bargain too.
To narrow
Little heavy, pretty comfortable but more likes skating sneakers than walking shoes
Very comfortable fits very well on the feet and does not tire!
If you buy your actual size they will feel slightly big but with socks it's snug. They are bulky but feel very comfortable. Update: At the price discounts a few selected colors had I couldn't bypass so I purchased another. Not a sneaker head but for around $20-$30 dollars you could buy these or some unknown brand.
