Grandma shoes so good, you won't slip, pulling b%#@!^$
So comfortable.I left for my study abroad to France in May of 2025 and have been wearing these shoes interchangeably with two other pairs of shoes since. This pair has by far been the most comfortable over the entire trip even compared to my sneakers. I have worn them for impromptu hikes up steep hills, walking the cobblestone streets, trips to the pool, strolls in the rain, swimming in a lake, and around my residence. They have little to no signs of wear and tear which is great for their price point. They have been supportive, leaving me with little foot fatigue at the ends of my day. Along with the comfort and support of the sole, the material of the straps have yet to leave any blisters! This was a big box I needed my shoes to check as I knew I would be stuck walking around for hours with no options to change. The band across the toes is not restrictive at all as it is a structured piece of fabric. This means it not only lets your feet breathe, but it also doesn't restrict blood flow or cause discomfort when the shoes get wet. The stiff ankle strap is obviously part of the design for the "slip in shoe" but it was also unexpectedly helpful when walking up inclines because it felt slightly supportive and hugely necessary in keeping the shoe securely on without it being a tight band that would rub or restrict your foot. I also went to a lake to go swimming and realized after we arrived that the beach was full of small rocks. I unexpectedly had to use these as water shoes while my partner had to walk on sharp rocks the whole time. At one point I even offered him the shoes because they worked so well for me. They worked great and still did not feel uncomfortable on our far trek back to the hotel before letting them dry. I definitely don't think it's the most sleek and stylish shoe, but for an orthopedic style saddle... it was one of the better designs I could find for my taste. I think it 100% borders on "grandma shoe" vibes, but I simply do not care because it worked so well for me. Also, let me be proof that you can, in fact, still pull even when wearing grandma shoes. Either you have rizz or you don't.. can't blame shoes. Great summer 10/10 would recommend the shoes
