The left shoe stopped lighting up. Was in the midst of returning them when I found a review saying you can turn the lights off. I'm guessing for situations to where your kiddo is kicking their feet like crazy. They have minor wear and tear after a month. Kiddo loves them, cute and comfy. Glad I didn't have to return them.
My initial review….This is the second pair of shoes I had to have delivered because the first pair stopped lighting up after one day this pair stopped after two days. Do not recommend these shoes if your child wants the lights.Update: I was having issues with the second pair of shoes I ordered and was ready to send them back when all of a sudden the lights started working again. After a little research, I’ve learned that the glitter strap has an on off button on the tab at the end. It would be helpful if the shoes came with instructions, but here is a picture of the on off button to help anybody else who found the lights to be defective!!!
Love the on/off feature of lights very pretty sparkly colors. Seems good quality.
My granddaughter loved these light up shoes. She said they were her favorite Christmas present. The fit was great. Good quality, color and durable. She said they are very comfortable and she is hard to fit in shoes.
I bought a pair of these for my granddaughter and they are so cute but they stopped lighting after the first wear---I returned them and bought another pair of the same and yet again she wore them once and one does NOT light up! So disappointed!!!!!
The comfortable fit of Sketchers is always great - the design, colors and flair they add to your feet is super cute, however:these are definitely not waterproof and do peel after a couple months of use. The lights, if gotten wet and used daily (running around, the park, sports) seem to have a 3-5 month lifespan until at least one burns out. Durability-wise after a few months, degradation sets in with some peeling around the edge where the base of the shoe meets the upper cloth area and they lose their “new shoe” look.Have bought multiple pairs of Sketchers light-ups, and this seems to be the case with each shoe.Price is meh for that you get, and I can’t act like I don’t expect it happen. Fit is truly the driving factor here, and the temporary joy the lights bring (until they don’t), is the bonus.
