I’m in my fifties.. and I love hiking! But I have to be careful with my feet! I trust sketchers for durable comfort that helps me walk longer and hurt less!! They fit great! And I loved how I could literally walk through a creek and my feet stayed warm and dry!! I had these for over a year now, and they have lasted so long!! Best money I spent!!
As we get older...well, things change. Arthur, and the rest of the Itis family, move in to your joints and the simplest of tasks can become difficult. Like walking...my feet have taken me thousands of miles, and will take me thousands more if I can wear these shoes every time! They're true to size, have the AMAZING Skecher memory foam insoles, give great ankle support and they look fantastic. I can walk and walk and walk and my feet are fine at the end of the day. I've even noticed the support in these shoes also helps with knee, hip, and back pain....all of which I have in abundance.If you need a hiker, or just want to dress like you are one, don't hesitate to buy a pair...or two (as I did)..you won't regret it.
I hesitate to call them "boots" because they're really more like a sneaker with high ankles. But they're great! Very comfortable to walk long distances in, as long as you wear the right socks..I suggest thicker socks that cover your ankles, which is a little less than comfortable in the heat. Without thick ankle high socks, the shoes really rubbed on my ankles and after only 5 to 10 minutes it was too painful to continue.They fit very true to my average shoe size. I might even suggest going a half size up if you think you'll need it, especially with thick socks. I didn't plan for that and they're a bit tight with thicker socks. It's not so tight that it feels like the wrong size though, so it's up to you if you go a half size up or not.Overall, they're pretty good sneakers! For the price, the negative things I have to say about them really aren't all that bad. I don't regret these at all.
These boots fit so well and are really comfortable yet supportive. I have wide feet, bunions, plantar fascitis and low aches. I need toe room, good padding and good support. These offer all that and they're real cute. They're absolutely water proof and comfortable in all kinds of weather. I absolutely love these boots!
Besides receiving the wrong style and color, I'm happy with the boots. I ordered the brown pair that was featured in the listing, but received a gray pair instead. I decided not to make an issue of it being that they fit well and are comfortable. I have high arches so I need shoes and boots with good support. I spare no expense when it comes to my feet and buy the best quality possible.
I've always loved Sketchers because the shoes fit like they molded my foot for them. I have high arches and my feet are slightly wide just before the base of my toes. I wear regular sizes because narrows are impossible and wides are too loose, but a regular usually either fits right off the bat or takes a little breaking in. When I first put these on, it was a bit snug around the widest part of my foot, but after walking around the house a bit, they felt great. These shoes are very comfortable and lightweight. The navy blue is very dark, almost black, and the light blue accents is a pretty shade. I'll update if anything goes wrong after a lot of walking in rainy weather, but right out of the box they are perfect.
