So comfy if you really need a wider shoe. Gorgeous color too.
Many of these 'loafer' style Skechers look the same. The uppers are so similar it's hard to believe that they're constructed any differently. But they are. My first pair of shoes were an 8.5 wide, and I loved them. So I thought I'd start a little collection. I wanted fashion colors, but they aren't all available in 'wide'. I tried the 9 in the gorgeous Martha Stewart olive green ones with gold sparkles (loved them), but they were really uncomfortable so they went back. Then I thought I'd try the size 9 burgundy/wine colored ones I'm reviewing here. Someone else mentioned that they were a little on the larger side, and they were right. So happy I took a chance. Yes, they're a touch long in the toe, but my wider feet were happy, and I'm sure they'll stretch a bit as I wear them. And winter's coming - so socks will help. They're a true, rich, burgundy wine color, have a lower drop (not as high a 'heel'), and slip on just as well as my first pair. My balance issues from MS really appreciate the slip in feature. So easy to walk in.This review is just to say - try the different models and styles (especially with the ease of returns at Whole Foods), and you might be pleasantly surprised. Love these shoes.

Wine Color Looks Like Brown
These are nice, comfortable shoes. However, the wine color is so dark it looks like brown.

Cute and comfy slip-in sneaker!
These shoes are lightweight, flexible and really comfy. The “slip-in” feature is great! They fit as expected with one caveat: after wearing the black pair in 8, I ordered the beige color in 8. The beige was slightly narrower - enough for me to return and try 8 wide. Oh, and did I mention these are really cute?
