Despite the less-than-glowing reviews, I decided to order these at a slick 80% off. I needed durable, warm, water resistant, breathable boots in this color, in my size with a cushy sole, side zipper, decent laces, ready to take on the messy cold of a NYC pedestrian.Okay, so they're not the shiniest footwear, but that's fine, we don't want to shock our fellow pedestrians with a blast of electric shine. The sizing is spot-on, they fit like a perfect 8M. They really are a medium width, so if you have bunions, broad toes or fasciatis, these boots may be a bit too rigid for you. If not, they do feel sort of military, so your foot won't move a millimeter. Stability is this boot.Biggest plus - if you're looking for a spectacular boot bargain, it's winter in the Northeast. Suit up and grab this bargain before they shoot up the price.👍

Would be cute if not so flawed
So the boots in the product picture are beautiful…but what arrived in the box, not so much.First off: The boots are not shiny. They are dull and appear to be caked in some kind of residue, with a few spots where you can see the shine.I spent quite a while with a grout brush, hot water, and Dawn dish soap, and it took a lot of effort to get the boots shiny.Second problem: They are extremely narrow fit. I have narrow feet, sized up, and still have to loosen all the laces AND unzip to get them on and off, which is quite a hassle.Third problem: They are not burgundy. They are dark brown.Fourth problem: They squeak sooo badly with any movement.Fifth problem: If you are expecting the soles to be as comfortable as any other Skechers boots, you will be disappointed. They have no support.I love Skechers and have been wanting more boots, but these were a letdown.

Great purchase!
These were gift for my granddaughter, and as with all Skechers she loved him and they felt wonderful right out of the box. You do not have to break them in at all. They look great, they fit great, and they are very comfortable. I also feel they were a very good price. I highly recommend these.

Disappointed in Sketchers and Amazon
I received the boots and they looked nothing like the pictures. They were very dull, pretty much all over. They only had a couple of shiny patches. I was very disappointed because I was really looking forward to wearing these boots. I had to choose 1 star, so I could submit my review. Otherwise, I would have chosen 0 stars.
