I only wear shoes when I leave the house and for the last 15 - 20 years I've only worn Skechers. No matter the style size 8 always fits perfect. I needed something more dressy for a special occasion. I was delighted to find that Skechers had a Mary Jane style model. I received them the night before my event. Supposedly it's not a good idea to wear new shoes without breaking them in first. Well, I tried them on and wore them around the house for about 5 minutes. The next day I went to my 60th high school reunion! They felt great, but I did bring a pair of my old shoes just in case there was a problem. Well, I never gave my feet another thought. The shoes are so comfortable, it was like walking on air. Honestly, I don't ever remember feeling like that with any other shoes I've ever had. I have bad knees and sometimes problems with my feet. I was very comfortable both walking and standing during the 6 hours I wore them.Also, besides being comfortable, I think they are very cute, and can be dressy or casual, depending on what you're wearing.

I can’t go wrong with Skechers

I really love these shoes. I think they are attractive and will work in almost all situations, and they are very comfortable. Comfort and support or what’s important to me even more than the look of the shoe. I have difficulty with some mobility and always try to find a shoe that gives me a feeling that it is substantial and will decrease these mobility problems. I feel this is true of this Mary Jane. At first, I didn’t think I liked the color, it is a lighter brown, but now I really love it. It goes with many things and can be used in almost all situations from church to work too with just a nice pair of slacks. I think you could even use them with jeans. I highly recommend these shoes and depending on your needs, I think you will be well pleased.

Cute but be careful if you have narrower feet

I ordered these because I have spent a lot of time looking for a Mary Jane shoe that I can wear to work and with casual outfits at a reasonable price. These seemed to fit those criteria, so I was excited to order them and try them on. I have to say I still really like how they look after receiving them, but unfortunately, the strap attaches with velcro that is limited to a small area on the strap, so the strap area would remain loose even when I tightened it as much as possible. I think for most people, they will fit fine, but if you have a narrow foot, you may want to keep looking. It is too bad. I wish the Velcro for attaching was better designed. I would have loved to have kept them, but sadly, I had to send them back.
