i love skechers, the only shoes i can wear have to have goga max insoles. when these boots arrived i didn't think they would be comfortable for all day wear basing this on how stiff they was. boy was i wrong i worked a 13 hour shift the first day i wore them and they was just as comfortable as my other skechers with softer soles. they are waterproof which i love, the only negative thing i could say it my toes did get a little cold during the day ( i worked in a 45 degree room for all of the 13 hours minus breaks). they never got cold enough to lose sensation but they got a little cold, still love them,

Waterproof and supportive

The footbed is a little hard but these offer good support for the feet and ankles and they are waterproof. I was worried about the side zip and fabric tongue, but the zip is lined with waterproof material and the fabric tongue overlays a rubber backing. Because of the zipper, these are relatively easy to get on and off, while the laces allow you to tighten down the fit for hikes over uneven terrain. I sized up by 1/2 to allow for medium thick wool socks, and these were fine for a 10-day trip through Iceland without any breaking in.
