Minimal time needed to break them in
These shoes are great! I bought them for an upcoming trip in which I'll be doing some easy hikes. I put them on and they immediately felt comfortable. I walked around my house for about an hour in them with no complaints, so I decided to keep them.The next day, I went for a walk in them and there was none of that typical breaking-in that you have to do with new shoes. I haven't gotten a single blister and I've been wearing them for 3 days now. They feel great and seem to be true to size.These are TRUE slip-in shoes...anyone complaining about how they're not slip-in because they have laces really doesn't understand the concept of slip in. Slipping in has to do with the structure of the heel and how well it holds up as you slip your foot in and out without having to bend over. These do exactly that.The first time you put them on, you can tie the laces to where you want them and then leave them that way and slip your foot in and out of the shoes every time thereafter. The laces do have a little bit of slipperiness to them, but double-knotting seems to do the trick.If you want a nice light hiking sneaker that's comfortable out of the box and is easy to slip in and out of, these are the ones. PS the burgundy color is more of a dusty purple and I am here for it! They're really cute!

Comfortable, but clunky looking
The color is less grey and more stark beige, and I find this kind of ugly. The shoes fit kind of wide and clunky. But, they are comfortable, lightweight, flexible, and have good tread (important to me). They also slip on easily as claimed. I kept them, though I would probably have ordered black if I'd seen the actual color. I would actually give them 3.5 stars if I could.

Love these! I have been buying sketchers for years and I was looking for something to help with the neuropathy on the bottoms of my feet. While I don’t know how that will work out compared to what I already have, I can say they are comfortable and I love the ease of stepping into them and still feeling they are secure on my feet!
