Perfect for a cold, rainy NYC tourist trip.
These were excellent shoes to wear in nyc in freezing/just below freezing temps with wind chills in the teens.I normally wear a size 8.5 and I ordered A size 9 to account for the amount of walking I’d be doing and the thick wool socks I’d be wearing. The combination was perfect. Plenty of toe box room.The shoes felt broken in within a full day’s worth of sightseeing and the cushioning was good and reminded me of sneakers. If you require more support for various walking issues these shoes will allow for that.The traction was perfect for walking up and down wet subway stairs.The waterproofing worked well for sloshing around wet NYC streets with light rain in the cold. Feet were kept warm and dry.The grey color was accurate and I liked the added touch of the sparkly grey shoe laces. Super cute! I also bought a pair for my child and they loved their shoes too. Highly recommend these shoes.
