The sandals arrived today and are very good quality for the money! They are a nice, matte black. Included a close-up picture of the texture.These will be cute on vacation. I can see wearing them with shorts, a summer dress, or some jeans in the spring. Very classic, basic staple piece.They seem waterproof or at least water resistant. All synthetic materials.Love the thick band, and time will tell if it’s comfortable enough to wear on longer walks. Big and does not fit snuggly on foot
I usually do not leave poor reviews, but I did not like these shoes. I was very excited for them, because I love to wear completely flat dress shoes. I think the biggest problem is that they were too big. Not the length of the shoe - that fit my foot ok - but the band across the top. There was so much space that the shoe just flopped around on my foot or my toes slide so far forward that they fall off the front of the shoe. The band isn’t stretchy at all. I think that if it was then it would solve the problem. Obviously everybody has different size feet, but I would think that most people would like it to be snug on their foot, and in order to accommodate all the different sizes (not to tight or too loose) it would have to be stretchy.Another problem with the inflexible band is that it kind of digs into your foot as you walk, instead of moving with your foot. It’s a bummer, because I was excited about this design. It looks cute, just not well executed.Maybe I just should have sized down, but I don’t think that’s the only issue. This shoe might work for you if your feet are on the larger side or if you size down.Other than that, I think the quality is decent. Very little traction on the bottom. But the sole is nice and soft. Price is a bit high for the quality in my opinion. I think if you order this shoe, it’s a bit of a gamble. You might love them! But you might not.
