Adorable but the area by the elastic band is narrow

My toddler was ecstatic to see these adorable unicorn themed sneakers. However she feel comfortable in them because the mid area where the elastic bands are is too narrow. The rest of the sneaker is great. Perhaps the front toe area is wider but the mid section is narrow. The elastic bands do not stretch much. They would be easy to wear and slip on if not for the narrow mid section. Otherwise the inside cushion is very comfortable. The sole has grip and is flexible, which is better for their little feet to develop well. These would be great for kids with narrow feet.

Fantastic!! I Docked one star solely for price *slightly* too high at $26.99

These are unlike any shoes I’ve seen or had for my boys. Very cute and exceptional quality..the soles are thick, sturdy rubber. I just can’t quite justify $29 after tax—-if the total were $26.99, that would be fair. Because of the thick rubber and solid stitches—they aren’t *flawless* though! …if $ at $22.99, I’d have given 5 stars.They are real shoes, and they really do stay on…my son’s preschool explicitly disallows crocs because they are easy to pull off…I was initially nervous, but they are as tight as if they had Velcro or ties! He never pulled them off, and they never complained ant me about them!Learning curve to put on, be prepared for it! When i finally took a few minutes to WORK at it, discovered it wasn’t as difficult as it had seemed/been. Get behind kiddo on the couch or stairs, in a way you can pull if they aren’t big enough to take commands to push leg out. (To not hurt their feet, too, for first couple times)Slip resistant, absolutely. Fit great, my son’s feet just grew though so we are sadly ALMOST unable to wear, but got a great month+ of regular wear! Darling things, would love more animal designs, perhaps a slightly happier expression 😹
