I bought these for a Tai Chi class. They are snug, so if you have wide feet consider sizing up. The construction is good and I don’t expect a lot of wear and tear because I only use them for my class. I don’t know how well they would hold up to everyday wear.
quality good, lightweight..size up better if was available to go up a size and a half. . fits a wide to foot ok. returned due to sizing and found something else with true to size fit a better choice
These are pretty good shoes for a good price. I am a tai ch'i practitioner and was looking for better shoes than my old canvas Keds. What I liked about the shoe is that it does not have a tongue and elastic -- I have a high instep and would prefer less coverage of my upper foot.Previous reviews mentioned that you should measure your foot and then use the measurement to select your size -- do not rely on the standard US sizes, as the manufacturer may have used incorrect sizing. So I ordered a women's 9.5, which ended up being really big. I then tried an 8.5, which is a little too snug.I could attempt a 9.0, but will not. The shoe itself has a very slight heel -- I expected the sole to be flat. The heel's height is not a problem, but the pressure of the sole's heel in both the larger size and the smaller size digs into my heel at a very uncomfortable accupressure spot. This is not the only shoe that I've had problems with, and it might not be a problem for you, just be aware. I'm trying a tai ch'i shoe with a tongue and a perfectly flat sole next.
I ordered an 8 and it was very small. I wear a 7.5 I ordered 8 thinking it would fit. No such luck.
I bought these for my tai chi class. I'm a 7 1/2 wide and ordered the 8. I fits just fine with the exception of the way the heel comes in at the top. I've stretched out the heel binding and the shoe works just fine. Very functional!
Purchased my shoe size but were too small so I gave them away and ordered the next size up. When the new ones came in they were too long and too wide. Huge difference in the two sizes.
Exactly what I wanted but i would say size down 2 sizes as they run a little big.
