Does What It Advertises, but Feels Clunky and Runs Large
Vine ReviewerThese slip-on work boots do what they advertise, but they didn’t quite hit the mark for me overall. On the positive side, the steel toe and puncture-proof sole feel solid and protective, and I don’t doubt they’d hold up well in an industrial or construction setting. The non-slip sole works as expected, and the leather feels durable enough for tough environments. From a safety standpoint, they seem reliable. That said, the biggest downside for me is the fit and feel. I ordered my usual size 9.5, which is normally spot-on, but these felt larger than expected. Even with thicker socks, they still felt a bit loose. On top of that, the boots feel clunky and bulky on my feet. They’re noticeably heavier and less streamlined than other work boots I’ve worn, which made walking around all day less comfortable. The EVA mid-sole helps somewhat, but the overall bulkiness makes them feel awkward, especially if you’re moving a lot or climbing up and down during the day.Overall, these boots are functional and protective, but not very comfortable or lightweight. If safety is your main concern and you don’t mind a bulkier boot—or you size down—they may work fine. For me, though, the clunky feel and oversized fit make them just average.

Finally have a new steel-toe boot
When I first ordered these I worried they would be too snug on my husband. While he’s retired, he does a lot of work on and around our home, friends & family’s homes, and cars. He’s never been one to sit idle, even when he would take off for vacation, or extended weekends, unless we physically left the state, he would find something to occupy his mind and hands. I am not complaining, we’ve never had to call out a repairman or mechanic; he’s most of our friends and all of our family’s mechanic, as well. Steel toe shoes and boots for him, or like me and my slippers in the morning and night. About 2.5 years ago, my husband had a mild heart attack, and found out he had a few mini heart attacks for about a week before finally agreeing to go to the hospital; they placed a stent and he’s been fine since, with the exception of having to take a few pills daily. About two years ago, he took off his shoes one day and socks, and yelled to me that something was wrong with his feet. Even as I write this I laugh, I went into the living room to see what was wrong with his feet; he saw the indentation of his socks and it freaked him out. I told him, there was nothing wrong with his feet but they were swelling. I explained it was the end of the day and being that he spends most of the day on his feet it was the reason for the swelling. I had to hear, “In all 65 years I have been alive, I have never had anything like this happen!”I told him it happens to me all the time, and most people deal with swelling in their feet as they get older and take a diuretic to assist with fluid retention.Anyway, I worried these boots would be a little snug for that reason. When they arrived, initially he said he didn’t like them, he said they wouldn’t be as nice as his other ones because they had no laces. I told him to just try them on and see how they fit. He tried them and said they fit fine. I asked him to give them one day, to wear them for just a full day and if they didn’t feel like his other boots, I wouldn’t ask anymore; he agreed, and that was two months ago. He has worn them every single day, all day and now says he wished I had found these boots years ago. I wore them for a day before he did, and they fit comfortably. I found they were too heavy for me but I don’t and have never worn steel toe shoes. These fit snug just as if they had laces. They offer the same steel toe protection, as any other steel toe boot. My husband loves that he can slip them on, and he will NEVER go back to the old steel toe boots, his words. At the end of the day when he removes his boots, there isn’t an imprint from the boot, occasionally there might be one from his sock but the boot never feels like his circulation is being cut off. He has gotten a nail caught in the bottom once or twice but they’ve never punctured the shoe itself, just the leather sole. He ordered another pair within a month of wearing these but in a different color. Hunthor, you definitely have a winner on your hands, at least in my household, even a couple male family members have switched to these boots. My husband is ordering one of his brothers a pair to see if he can get him to make the change. He's a teamster and worked with the film industry for 15-20 years driving the honey-wagon (dressing trailers for celebrities and production people. Most filming has moved out of the country; lately, he’s been driving a forklift helping build a new launchpad so steel toe boots are a must for him.

Wasn't the most comfortable for me
These boots look solid and have a tough exterior with steel toes and puncture-proof soles, but comfort is limited. The insoles are okay for short periods, yet the rest of the boot feels stiff and unforgiving. They’re great for protection on a job site, but don’t expect all-day comfort.

4.5 stars - Big for the size!! ORDER DOWN!
This was an affordable and well made pair of shoes, unfortunately they ran really big. I'm a solid 11.5 in every shoe I've ever had, sometimes it varies a tiny bit, but nothing a pair of thin or thick socks couldn't really fix. I ordered these in an 11.5 and they're HUGE - they feel like they're at least a full size too big, or more than a half size at least. I wore my biggest, thickest pair of socks ever and it's still a bit loose. That being said, the quality of the shoe vs the price is quite good. First off, the style looks really nice. They look dressy for steel toed boots. You wouldn't look crazy wearing these out. They're also mostly comfortable - I mean they're steeled toed boots so they're not going to be the most comfortable things ever, but for the price I think they're much more comfortable than other alternatives at a similar price point I've gotten to try out. The shoes are very functional - they're non slip, with good protection and the slip on is super convenient. Very easy to use and wear! Time will tell on the durability, but the construction looks good so far. I haven't discovered any places with bad stitching or bad glue.I'm not sure about the other reviewers but I would definitely order .5 to 1 full size down. Hopefully these last a long time, but I will update with any issues.
