Got these as a starter pair for a new security job just in case they wont let me wear my loafers, lol. They are comfortable enough and seem to be well made. Just keep in mind you are buying Smith & Wesson boots...not 5.11 Tactical....the quality and creature comforts are reflected in the price...in this case they focused on quality construction...and a bit less on a comfortable build. But they fit my needs. I knew what I was buying and I am happy with what I got at this price point. They are quality boots

This is an amended review. I purchased a pair of the boots from the manufacturer and they quickly suffered a blowout of the stitching around the eyelets. Customer support reached out to me in a timely manner and offered me a full refund- or the choice of any other shoe in their catalog, as a goodwill gesture. If I hadnt already ordered a different pair of boots by another maker I Definitely would have taken them up on their offer. Alas dirty jobs don't wait on us- so I had to take a refund. But fair play all around- and I will keep them in the list for future purchases
