Comfortable and Good looking Basic Boot

Great boot if you can find your size! I am an adult woman with a petite frame. I ordered this boot 3 times in different sizes since I could not find my correct size. I normally wear a women’s shoe size of 5 or 6. In kids I can typically wear a 4 or 5. My first attempt, I ordered a 4.5. It was super big. My second attempt I ordered a 3.5. It was still very big. For reference, my mother who wears a size 7 in women’s could fit into the youth 3.5. My third attempt, I ordered a 3. The 3 was ok. Still loose but workable with thick socks and a shoe insert. I think I’m going to keep the 3, but next time I will definitely try a 2.5. I just got tired of going in to make a return. The boot itself looks good quality. The sizing is just really different.

Nice boots.

My 7 year old loves them even though they were too big. I bought a half size up, as a Christmas gift, so they would make it through summer. We need snow boots here in winter, but it was the biggest request for Christmas, so I went up in size. Turned out to be way too big but she's getting her kicks in now. She wanted black to be like her hero, Chris Larabee ( Michael Biehn) but was hugely disappointed to not have a silver band or toe rand like her friend who has "REAL" cowgirl boots. Anyone know where to get boot jewelry?

Update:We just purchased our second pair of boots for my son. Not because they didn't last, but because he's a growing boy and needed a larger size. His first pair still have life in them surprisingly, and this is after heavy everyday use for the last year. We live in the mid west, so they have seen mud, rain, and snow. No tears, rips, or holes in the real leather. These are great quality boots and will be my go to brand till he outgrows the sizing available.My son normally wears a pointed toe boot. They were getting small and falling apart so I ordered a half size up. Being that the toes on this boot is more rounded, I should have ordered the same size. It gives more room so they are bigger.As for the quality, they are great. Well made and no flaws in the construction of the boot.The leather shaft was bent in the box, so we needed to do a couple over night "break in" techniques with rubber bands so that it would not rub his calfs or ankles. But this was something I was planning on doing anyway. Anyone who has bought a leather boot before should know that you should do that to help the fit and wear of the boot before use.
