Durable, snug, secure and warm

These were perfect for my mom. She loves the color and the warmth of the wool lining. She's 89 and has to move up and down the stairs. She was using those backless-style slippers, but I could see her falling if her foot slipped out of it. These hold her foot well.She's diabetic, so foot warmth is essential. I knew I could trust the durability as I have the men's brown moccasin with the leather "sole" and it has held up well for the past three years.

A mixed bag, but overall satisfactory

I wanted to love these based on some of the other reviews. I found they did not run large and was surprised when I first put them on they actually felt tight, and thought I might have to send back or give away. But I tried them again and walked around a bit, and found that once the fleecy lining compacted a bit they actually fit ok (though was surprised that the lining compacted so quickly). At first they seemed very tight in the toes and very loose in the heel, and I was worried they'd flop around and not stay on. They do loosen up as you wear them, and conform a bit to your foot. I like that they are soft soled and fairly quiet, however there is no padding or insole so once the fleece compacts, you're walking mainly on the leather sole. Not uncomfortable but not cushy. As they break in in fit, they also start to look well, broken in. I was surprised how fast they look worn; they don't stay new looking long! The fleece around the top starts to look matted and the soles look worn quickly. Perhaps spraying them with Scotchguard might have helped? Still they are decent slippers and fairly warm. Not like real shearling I imagine but for the price they do ok. The only other thing I'd say is it would be nice if they weren't quite so lowcut to keep more of the top/side foot area warm. Because of this, I always wear them with socks.

Soft & warm slippers

I take a size 8 1/2 shoe. I ordered these in size 9 and they were perfect for several months, till they got “broken in”, and now are quite large but easy to slip in & out of. So I just got my second pair - size 8. They are perfect and even though they will loosen as the thick lining compresses, I doubt they’ll flop. They came marked “SIZE 6” but they are 8, for sure. I have searched a long time to find warm, comfy slippers and these are the best; but have a soft sole and cannot be worn outdoors. They machine wash & dry well, too. They are warmer and more comfy than several brands of $100 slippers that I have tried. FIVE star rating, well deserved!

Quality comfy suede soft-sole slipper

I love this slipper. It has pretty pink suede on the outside and the sole is white/grey suede and the inside is lined with comfy lambswool to make it soft and warm. This slipper is so quiet to walk in because of the soft-sole. This is a quality product with seams that are sewn with real skill and look perfectly joined and secure. This slipper is a great value. Customer service is very responsive.

Awful !!!

These Slippers were supposed to be size 7 women US. These were wrong size very verylarge, too big and each foot was a different size. Totally useless.
