They are nice.
I noticed on the back of the shoe on the heel, that it had, what appeared to be a discoloration. The strap on the shoe where it attached seemed to be secure. The strap on the buckle end, appears to have a separation, and I'm concerned it might snap and break. The actual shoe fit was fine. I am giving it a 4 star, because I can't be certain, that on the pair I received, might break before the shoe is worn out.

Wide feet beware
These fit well for the most part. They are comfortable all things considered and they have decent traction. They are also super cute and easy to slip on without them fallimg off.My warning is that these seem to be built for narrow feet. So, if you have wide feet, you may need to size up.

Significant ** SIZING ** Issue.
I'll start with the good: The soles. Excellent soles. The trouble is *SIZE* they are *AT LEAST* an ENTIRE size *TOO SMALL*. There isn't a size chart on the current listing, and nowhere does it give any indication that they fit small.On their ACTUAL website for additional information on THESE particular shoes, you can find contradicting information in the same sentence.. Here's verbatim.. "Women: Generally the same as street shoe sizeMen: 2 Sizes up from street shoe size: Closed Toe Shoes: Go up a least 1/2 size: Open Toe Shoes: Go down at least 1/2 size".What does that even mean!? Are they the same size as street shoes? NO. Would going up a 1/2 size make any significant difference? NO.I happened to order two pairs of Character shoes same day, SAME SIZE, different COMPANIES, different COLORS. They arrived together. So an immediate COMPARISON was possible. I simply could not believe my eyes when I compared them.The reason I am harping on about this is that THEY DO **NOT** HAVE GENUINE LEATHER UPPERS - and so the potential "breaking in" some real leather and suede shoes need, does not apply. PU isn't designed to be broken in, it will simply start splitting under pressure.There are a few other smaller things that I could go into, but they're irrelevant, given they can't be worn to dance in anyway!I'm going to attempt to exchange for larger size, and I REALLY hope that they'll accept the request. I'll report back on how that goes!

Excellent shoes, but sizing issues. Order a size up (or more)
This is the second pair of shoes that we ordered from So Danca, as the first pair was way too small. My wife is a US 6.5, EU 37 and the 6.5 was way too small, an EU 36 or even smaller by our reckoning. This pair she ordered a size 7, listed as a 36 1/2 and they barely fit. They’ll work fine after we stretch them, but clearly So Danca doesn’t use the same EU to US conversion that the vast majority of shoemakers use. And their Amazon product page doesn’t list anything but the (incorrect) US size. They clearly need to list the EU size, and correct the US sizing.The shoes are excellent for dancing. They’re stylish and comfortable. Turning and spinning is effortless with the leather soles, and the shoes are very well made. They dress up for more formal occasions, and are also suitable for two stepping with jeans at our local country bar.These are excellent dance shoes IF you can get the sizing right. If you’re willing to return a pair (or two) to ensure a proper fit, you’ll love them.
