The best thing about these is that they're very comfortable to walk on, it's like walking on flats. They've got a good grip on your foot, and good traction. I usually wear 39 EU, which typically translates to 8 US. However, but I ordered 8.5 based on the size chart, and it fits just right. I can only assume therefore, that if you normally wear 8 US, this might be a bit smaller: consider ordering half a size up.They look decent, pretty cute even, and not at all as cheap as they actually are. They're not fancy or special, but they go with a lot of things and are generally unobtrusive in a good way. Very useful.

These boots look a little more 'hipster' in person. Not quite the 'combat style' I was originally looking for. However, they are cute and definitely still in style for the fall and winter months. These boots are durable. I put them on and wore them for 6+ hours walking around a dirt festival the day after I got them. Yes, probably not the smartest idea haha but I did not get one blister! They give you the height, along with all the support you want in a boot. Cleaned easily by wiping with water and damp towel. I imagine that you could use black men's shoe polish to cover any scrapes on the front too because its a sturdy faux leather material that the boot is made from.

Perfect for those who have top of the foot pain!

Need thin ankles to tighten the strap because that keeps your foot from being pressed on.Unusual boot, bulky but not like a combat boot, just looks like the tie area is bigger than normal.The quality is fine, vegan leather, feels sturdy, the heel is chunky with rubber bottom, but when I wore them at work on a tile floor, they made a clicking sound. The upside is because the toe are is constructed with so much space, they did not hurt my feet.

New favorite shoes!

I couldn't believe how comfy and easy to walk in these shoes are. I have a really hard time walking in heels (basically anything above 2 inches), but these boots give me the height I want while being as easy to walk in as flats or sneakers. I wear a 7-7.5 and have wide feet, and the 7.5 fits me perfectly. The laces are strong and quality, and I love that there is a side zipper which makes putting them on a breeze. The laces are a nice detailing and also mean you can loosen or tighten the shoes as you need. As an added bonus, my fiance thinks these shoes are really sexy ;)

Nail in the heel

The first time I purchased a pair of these, they worked wonderfully and lasted awfully long for a $30 pair of boots; about two years. So of course after they finally fell apart I bought another pair. My first time wearing them was painful, as the head of a nail in the heel of the sole was poking through. I figured I just got a bad pair, no big deal. I returned them and got a replacement. For about four weeks, everything was fine. The boots weren't hurting me and I was happy with them. But by the fifth week the head of the nail in the right heel started to poke through the sole. Then both of the heels started to peel from the rest of the boot. I am very disappointed. Especially after how well my first pair held up. I'm going to be returning these and look elsewhere.
