A dressy shoe I can wear all evening despite major back and foot issues
I have bulging discs in my lower back, hip neuropathy, plantar fasciitis and high arches. I had to get rid of all my gorgeous 3 inch heels years ago and mostly wear my Brooks athletic shoes or go barefoot to avoid being in agonizing pain. However, there are those occasions when I have to dress like a grown up. I had a few formal events recently and needed something nice. Sofft has been my go-to brand for the last few years. The Camille sandal is awesome! Its so pretty, the straps feel supportive of my ankle and the heel is low but still enough to look dressy. They are so soft and the footbed is pretty supportive of my arch. I wore them from 4:00 to 11:00 pm at an event where I did a lot of walking and my feet did not hurt at all. I typically wear US size 6.5 in athletic shoes and a 7 in dress shoes. Several reviews on these said they run big and Amazon suggested I get a 6.5, so I did. Right out of the box, they were WAY too tight and I considered exchanging them for a 7. I'm glad I didn't though because the leather stretched out after wearing them about 4-5 times for a couple hours each time. I think if I ordered a 7, they would have been too big after the leather stretched out so order a size on small end of your range. I highly recommend these, especially if you are a special needs shoe girl like me. They are versatile and would pair well with anything from evening wear to jeans. Soft, soft leather and no blisters or rubbing.
