Third time ordering this style. Kept 2 of them. The one that I did not keep were black as the leather was very stiff. This and the navy pair are very soft and comfortable. They are very lightweight with some arch support. Fit true to size.

Comfortable for European vacation but NOT as your main shoe

I bought these sandals for a 2 week trip to Spain, with the added benefit of having new summer sandals to wear at home in Texas. I settled on these sandals after ordering and trying on nearly 10-15 other sandals, all of good brands and good quality.Pros: Soft leather, great sole that does well on cobblestone and uneven streets, bottom white part stays pretty clean (I was surprised that it wasn't brown after vacation, and they also clean easily!), can dress up or down and are very feminine with a touch of sportiness due to the white sole, matches with everything, buckles and straps did not rub EXCEPT in the heat after several hours of wearing them (see "cons.").Cons: The straps, particularly at the back of the shoe, seemed to grow uncomfrotable as the day heated up. I'm not sure if it has to do with the leather growing too soft in the heat, or just because I had worn them for several hours.Overall review: for a European trip with lots of walking, I preferred this to be my secondary shoe. I liked wearing a slip-on tennis shoe during the day, and switching to these sandals for evening activities and walking. Not only were they dressier than my tennis shoes and therefore better for evenings, but they also gave my feet a chance to breathe while still feeling very sturdy on uneven pavement and hills.

My old sandal is on the left and looks newer than the recently purchased pair

I would give this a 5 if the leather wasn’t damaged looking. I have an old pair of Sofft Mirabelle Sandals that needed to be replaced. They lasted for years. They still look and feel great, but the buckle was disintegrating after long years of wear. I just received a new pair yesterday and the leather looks as if it’s been water damaged. It’s dry - almost looks mummified. I hope this isn’t the "new leather look". I’m returning those and buying a new pair to see if there is a difference. I’ve taken a photo of the old and new sandals for comparison. These are well made and very comfortable sandals. A great look for nice casual or running around. Hoping the next pair has the soft, supple leather that my original sandals had.
