Needless to say I love these boots. Very well made and durable. Work in em, business in em, play in em, dance in em, style in em. Have received more compliments on these Sorels that any other boots I’ve had. Worth the money, they’ll outlast their money value. Came quick and in reliable packaging. You should get a pair for yourself.
Great pair of hiking boots, first pair I bought in a long time but recommend to anyone not wanting to spend too much on a good pair of boots. They are comfortable, don’t weigh too much, and fit perfectly. They do take a couple wears break in but very comfortable before and after breaking in.
Ends at a tough spot on the foot. Needs to be higher or lower for walking comfort and not getting sore from rubbing.
Looks great feels great and appears very well made. Sole is flexible grippy and doesn’t capture mud or stones. I went on a serious boot hunt, I tried and returned a TON of good (but IMO not great) boots: Keen Targee 3, Rockport Rugged Bucks, Columbia Newton Ridge, Timberland Anti fatigue, Timberland White Ledge, Thursday Boot, Nortive 8, Carenurse boot, Foxelli hiking boot, Altra hike boot. I kept this Sorel as a dressy light duty work/hiking boot and a Solomon X Ultra plus an Oboz Sawtooth for more serious hiking.
It's a good product however the laces are not good at all, and the some it's has inside as well
I’ve had my Sorel leather boots for over a year now, and overall, they’ve held up impressively well. The leather is high-quality, the construction is solid, and they’ve proven to be durable through various conditions—from city walking to light hiking. They’re comfortable, stylish, and definitely built to last.However, there’s one major downside that’s hard to ignore: the eyelets. For some reason, the metal eyelets on these boots are so sharp or poorly finished that they cut through every single pair of laces I’ve put on them. I’ve had to replace my laces at least ten times, which is incredibly frustrating. It’s disappointing because otherwise, these would be near-perfect boots.If Sorel could fix this eyelet issue, I’d happily give them five stars. But as it stands, the repeated hassle of replacing laces brings the rating down a notch.
