Fantastic shoes, especially for travel

I've had these shoes for over 6 months now (Elk,Chalk color), and I love them. I have wide feet and struggle to find shoes that fit well, but these fit great and are quite comfortable. I wanted a pair of shoes I could use on vacations that looked nice for daily wear but could also handle some light trail hiking (that way I don't have to pack a second pair of shoes), and these fit the bill perfectly given their stylish look, thick tread, and waterproof design. I love these so much they've become my primary pair of shoes and I'm buying a second pair in white.

Almost It, Decided to Return

I'm not a man, but I ordered these men's shoes based off the product image because they look a bit more feminine. First, I was surprised they we as heavy as they were. Not too heavy, but they seemed like they'd be lighter by the look of them. The tongue is attached to the sides, which causes it to buckle and wave under the laces, even if you barely tighten them. The main material is a leathery suede feel and the toe and heel are reinforced with a plastic guard. The body of the shoe, the leather parts, felt thin and the back immediately started to rub on my heel. There's no extra padding there, but higher socks might help. I ordered a men's 9, and I'm usually a 10 in women's, but sometimes could use a smidge more room. The men's 9 felt true to size, with wiggle room for me since it's about a half size bigger than my usual. From my view looking down on the shoe, the toe box looked fat and unattractive, but it doesn't seem to be visible from others' view while you're wearing them. I was torn on whether to keep them, but decided to return them in the end mainly due to the wide toe box look from my angle and the rubbing on my heel.

Good looking shoes that handle uneven surfaces very well

I wore these for two weeks in Central Europe and they were fantastic! They look more dressed up than regular sneakers, but the soles on these shoes were great on cobblestones and all kinds of uneven surfaces. I was very comfortable even when walking nearly 10 miles per day. I did not really get a chance to test them in very wet weather since we did not see much rain on the trip. Size ordered was accurate for my feet. The shoes are a bit heavier than regular sneaks.
