High quality sneakers, not for sports
The quality is excellent, as I've come to expect with all Sorel shoes I've ever owned. The leather is top notch. No stitching and glue issues stand out. The rubber soles do feel a bit thick and slightly inflexible, but that may just be down to personal preference. After wearing for a few minutes I don't notice it, but I do notice it initially when lacing up.The thing I have the greatest issue with is the tongue... It feels stiff and hits my skin. It's another one of those things that I forget about after wearing for a few minutes. I do hope that they soften up a bit over time, otherwise I will likely need to pair with some thicker socks.

Looks good and comfortable
I have several pair of Sorel boots. I was anxious to try these more casual shoes. First impressions: it’s a matte black almost leather look definitely waterproof. Because it’s waterproof you’re gonna have a little bit more heat in the shoe which wasn’t too bad with a thinner sock but just know that your feet are probably gonna sweat again because they’re waterproof. They’re comfortable on the inside a decent amount of cushion is noticeable. You will definitely have to take some time to break these in because the material is stiff. I wore these with a no-show sock. I probably will wear them with a little higher and thicker sock, that comes up around my ankle a little more until I can break them in better. The shoe tongue and the rest of the shoe around again it is really stiff. We’re talking like leather..ish material so it digs into the skin a little bit. overall I like the look, the comfort, and the feel. I’d buy them again anytime. I’m very pleased and these shoes definitely keep up with the Sorel name brand as I was hoping it would. These fit a little big, I’m typically a 10.5-11and I could probably get away with a 10.

A little stiff, but they look great.
The Sorel brand is synonymous with sturdiness and outdoor lifestyles. These are more casual type sneakers, that you would wear out and about with your friends. I would not pair them up with nicer clothes or even a suit. At first, the shoes are quite stiff, and I was hoping they would loosen up after about a week or so. There's still a little stiff and I feel like they're digging into my ankles too much. Hopefully overtime they will soften.

Very snug, stiff
I ordered this in preparation for rainy season. My white summer sneakers will be put away and I need something that will be easier to clean and waterproof. I liked the look of these sneakers as they are a clean black and white without any giant logos or designs. I would consider them a heavier than my typical sneaker with a thick and tough bottom. There is some bounce in the sole which should improve comfort a bit, but the shoe felt very tight to me. I would need at least a half size larger than what I normally order. For waterproof-ness, I dabbed some water on the side and it does bead rather than soak in so for rainy days I think this should repel most water. Obviously if I'm standing in deep puddles or getting rained on for an extended period of time, water will start to soak the shoe. Given the material, I would say the shoe also doesn't feel as breathable. Lastly and my biggest complaint, the back of the shoe is very stiff and finds itself pushing into the back of my ankle. I usually do not find myself having this issue, but maybe on extended days I might have to have one of those ankle pads to prevent blisters on the back of my ankle. My final review is based off the shoe having a clean design, but running small and not being that comfortable.

Quality casual footwear option
This is a great quality pair of shoes that will go with a variety of outfits — and they’re waterproof too which is an added bonus. They are very white and make my other white shoes look dull. A little stiff when first wearing them and takes a bit to break them in, especially on the collar part that supports your ankle/heel. After that they are comfortable and look nice. I wear size 14 and have had no problems with the fit.
