Great boot. Heavy but warm.
Super warm and extremely lightweight. I purchased a pair 4 years ago and they are worth every penny, they still look brand new. My 13 year old grandson wore them one day and he loved them so I bought him a pair. I know his 4 younger siblings will be able to enjoy them as he passes them along.
Perfect!!
LOVE these boots. I’ve struggled with cold feet and poor circulation my entire life. This is the first pair of boots I’ve found that keeps my feet warm. They’re heavy, but it’s worth it. I live in Minnesota and experience plenty of cold. Did have to size up compared to my shoes so I could wear a thicker pair of socks but it’s worth it.
I normally take a size 11. I could barely even pull these on to test them. I and returning them and going to order a 12 I hope a 12 is large enough. Other than that they seem like great boots.
I wear a size 10.5 and the 11 fits perfect
Excellent boots. They felt true to size for a Euro 43. I tried them on with my thicker merino blend socks, and my feet settled right in. (I usually waiver between 9 &9.5 in US Mens, OR in the 42-42.5- 43 range in Euro fitting. I consulted the Sorel chart, measured and sized up for the 43) This is for a "regular" width fit.The first thing I noticed is that the lining is SO very comfortable. My feet settled in and felt like I had worn these before. It gives the impression that it is "tight" on the sides (as it the boot is narrow) but the liner is really just "form fitting" and had plenty of room to stack up some socks, and conform to my feet. They never really felt "tight" (as in the wrong size) at all. Very cozy warm too. Of course - all feet are different - so check the return policy if you know you are hard to fit.I Really like that even though they are a large size boot, they offer GREAT flexibility & movement. They are so much easier to walk in than a boot with a really stiff upper. You can easily adjust the laces at the ankle for some support, but they are constructed so that you can still flex and walk and bend down properly. They do NOT have a stiff "clompy" awkward "robot /Frankenstein" feel to them. You can actually squat down, do stairs, flex up to reach stuff - normal human movement. This is SO helpful for me. Definitely a plus if you have any balance issues. They state waterproof - I believe it - the construction between the materials looks great. The treads and bottom are fabulous as well. They feel like they will have much better traction on the "snow transition" surfaces than other boots Areas such as concrete walk/entry, in a garage, sidewalks, - places that are still slippery but not actual full-on snow.Another small detail is actually a HUGE help - the drawstring cord at the top has an outer tube on it - holding it open so you can get a gloved finger in there. It's not just dangling, hard to pull with big dumb glove hands. Easy to get on and off.I would not hesitate to recommend these - especially if you need "real" protection from the elements. Good boots are a great investment in keeping yourself safe in a winter environment. This is one area you don't want to skimp on if you are out in it on a regular basis.
