The shoe looks great and felt fine. Ordered 1/2 size up after other recommendations. I had to return because of my peroneal tendonitis, these hurt after about a minute of wearing. I’ll reorder when I heal.
Kind of a cross between a sneaker and hiking shoe. I love the looks and the textile upper and leather trim. They are true to size, but were just a little snug across my toes when I first put them on. After wearing them around the house for an hour, or so, this snugness loosened, and they now fit great. Very comfortable. I usually walk around the house barefoot, but after an hour wearing these I actually forgot I had them on, they are that comfortable. The removable EVA footbed provides a nice cushion for the soles. The textile top cover is flexible where it should be. The cushioning on the tongue and around the foot and heel is nice. The molded, lightweight EVA midsoles provide good support for my high arches. The heel pull loops are a great addition for us older types who aren't a flexible as we used to be. I probably never will need the waterproof construction, but who knows where the next mud puddle may appear that I just have to stomp into? At $110 I think these overpriced. In my opinion, half that price would be a sweet deal.
Sneakers itself are really warm, comfortable and waterproof. Best ever I bought for PNW winter. Size however is 0.5 smaller than described. I have 10.5 and had to exchange 10.5 to 11 to fit comfortably. So add 0.5 to your size when buying.
These are excellent hiking shoes. After walking 30+ miles in them so far, all I have is smiles when it comes to their comfort, cushioning, quality construction, excellent fit, very stable sole and foot bed. To make it even better they are remarkably lightweight for such a hard working shoe. I haven't tested their waterproof claims yet, but that will come in time. These are a great choice and I'm glad I ordered them.
These are decent shoes. Pretty comfortable. I think the sizing is a shade small; I ordered 8s and they feel more like 7.5s, but they are not squeezing my toe box so that's fine. I normally order wide shoes, but got these in regular and they feel just fine; not tight at all. The have really good soles and the traction is superb. They do feel they wear a little warm; not 'super make your feet sweat' warm, but definitely warmer than other shoes I wear. Construction and stitching look rock solid and the rubber base the goes for about 1.5-2 inches up the sole is a nice touch to keep water out.
So my feet are really spoiled!I like good cushioning and flexibility that is lightweight.These shoes are okay, but they are heavier, don’t have the cushion that I like or the flexibility.They look okay.True to size.They seem well made.I personally wouldn’t wear them.
I ordered these Sorel Men's Outing Nw Sneakers for my husband in a size 13. He is generally a size 12, but in a sneaker is a 13. The sneaker is well made, I like the black and dark gray contrast. They squeak a bit when walking on a tile floor but that should go away when he wears them outside. The fit is okay, a bit tight in the toe box. Hopefully, these will stretch a bit and he will have to wear a thinner sock. This sneaker is really also a hiking shoe, I think the name does not reflect what it really is. My husband likes this shoe. I think the price point is about right for this product. I highly recommend.
