I LOVE these boots.
These are stylish workhorses. I bought them on a whim to take on a three week trip to Europe where I was going to be mostly in the Alps in Switzerland, Austria, and France. I wanted to pack light and have a pair of warm, waterproof, cute boots I could wear with jeans, leggings, etc. and also to hike that would be comfortable. These did all of those things. I did break them in for a few weeks prior to leaving and never had any foot pain. A plus -they sailed through airport security (Clear/TSA) without having to take them off!

Literally THE COOLEST BOOTS! -but not 4 wide feet
This boot was sold out in the green color everywhere! So surprised to see here after finding on Zappos.com. Wanted faster shipping, so I ordered here on 10/5/21, got em' 10/8.NOT FOR WIDE FEET AT ALL!!! I'm size 7.5 and that's what I ordered after reading reviews about these on other sites. HEED THIS WARNING! My feet are narrow as heck and these still need to be broken in well b4 I'll attempt to wear all day w/o a back up shoe to switch to. Try ordering a size up if you dont have VERY, VERY narrow feet.Having said all that... these boots are bomb. Cool color, great detail, and nice matte leather. SOREL is quality and their boots last years. So go ahead a get em'- if you think u can fit em'😉

Very narrow, stiff, uncomfy
Had high hopes for these, because I love the Sorel brand. These boots are a miss for me. They run incredible narrow. Very tight in ball of foot area. Something in that area also jabs and rubs at my foot. There is no lining or any soft material inside this boot. There is very little to no cushion. I would add an insole but it's too tight of a fit already. I do have chunkier calves and they do fit ok there, the laces let the top portion of the boot expand, but without being bulky. I do love the design of the sole of the shoe, it's very chunky and utilitarian looking. Love these boots! I needed winter boots with an emphasis on stability. grip and waterproof for ice and snow conditions in NE after my knee surgery. These are excellent quality and I get lots of complements. They arrived quite stiff but were broken in quickly took about two weeks. Now perfect, so comfortable. Note they are true to size and have a narrow fit, which is good for my feet. The design of the sole was why I bought these boots for their MAX stability. They look and feel more like a combat boot, so keep that in mind. There is nothing feminine about these boots. I am a woman in her 50s, 5'8" and ordered size 9.5 USA, in black w off-white sole. Bought in Dec 2022.

Great Winter Work Boots!
I love Sorel and have two other styles. My go-to for the past two years have been a leather boot with a built in wedge. They're super comfortable and I love them but the sole is starting to separate and the wedge isn't great in icy weather. I found these on sale and treated myself for Christmas. First wear was a bit rough. I bought my true size, which fit great, but they definitely felt narrow to begin with. They were also taller on my leg so i needed to wear taller socks right off the bat, which I didn't, so had a few sores from where they rubbed. After a few more all-day wears with the right socks, they feel super conformed to my feet, they don't rub and I can feel great wearing them to work or put running errands. These will definitely be my new favorite cold weather shoes from now on. Looking forward to trying out their waterproofing in the spring!
