Cute, comfortable, and some bonus height!
Disclosure, I love my Sorel boots. Wish they were even taller and am currently looking for a pair just in case mine need replaced. Which after 6+ years of wear they aren’t screaming for, I think this speaks to the brand’s quality and longevity.Came across these for warmer weather and got them for a steal! Didn’t really need them and wasn’t even looking but when a $100+ pair of Sorel’s pops up for what you pay for your usual flat, super casual “athletic” flip flops…Buy them! They’re cute on, easy to walk in, and I love the added height. (You’ll get a tad under two inches from these.) Especially as it’s not super obvious with the color blend and construction. (Mine are the color closest to a tan skin tone.)You don’t look like you’re standing on bricks- if you know, you know. Everyone who had those madden-ing shoes in the early aughts should get this. These flex as well so no feeling like you’re walking on bricks either. My ONLY warning would go to those with narrow, very narrow, feet. These aren’t adjustable and while they fit me well, my feet are average or slightly wider than average. For reference I consider those that “swoosh” to be made for narrow feet. Hope this helps!Edit. I’m struggling with the stars for “Comfort”. Immediately tapped 5 but perhaps 4 is more honest? They are comfortable. But I don’t wish to mislead anyone into thinking that these are perfect for their next walking tour of a city or something like that. They aren’t “valet shoes” (my name for the gorgeous but painful, hopefully easy to understand) by any means but they’re not for hours and hours of wandering either.
