Give these a chance…!

Chose these because they were listed in NY Magazine’s Strategist column as a most comfortable but still good-looking walking sandal. Since they weren’t overly expensive and easily returnable, gave them a shot. When first putting them on I was so disappointed: they were cute, but so restrictive, even seeming to make my ankles swell. Wore them around the house a bit at first, but had pretty much decided to return. But then needed a comfortable shoe to go out one night, and decided to give them an ‘outside’ chance.They were still tight and restrictive because of the half-elastic straps over the ankle area, but I liked their look (don’t care for bi-colored sole/upper) and the unexpectedly shock-absorbent sole. After a few shorter wearing sessions, they seemed to adjust to my feet, and now they’re my favorite slip-ons(!)Probably not good for wider feet or thicker ankles, but they could be a surprising find.Wish Amazon had the other colors the brand makes, but planning to order a back-up pair.

Comfy, versatile summer shoe destined for heavy rotation

These fit me great right out of the box. Based on other reviews, got a 7 instead of my usual 7.5, and the footbed is perfect length and actually foot shaped! The elastic ankle straps are a bit tight, and I have small ankles, so this might not be great for larger ankled folks, but here's what I love about them:-Supportive ankle-- I have hypermobile ankles, so this is a win for me. Also means I use zero energy keeping them on my narrower feet, and minimal heel rubbing. I assume they will relax some over time and I won't experience discomfort over time due to the tightness, but we'll see.-Flexible soles mean minimal rubbing at heel or toe strap.- Supple leather & wide strap means minimal rubbing/break in.- Beige/pink version reads as a nude on my skin tone, and the style works with jeans/casual pants, shorts, and casual skirts/dresses.I have been eyeing this style for a couple years now, and now I wish I'd bought them immediately. Do it! You won't regret it.

Cute brown Sandal

I wear an 7.5 or 8 depending on the sandal. I ordered the 7.5 and at first they were tight and I almost sent them back . But I decided to keep them and see if the tightness on my right foot would expand or stretch a bit . It was the lower strap across near my toes that had me concerned. I have worn them now several times and it seems like it has gotten more comfortable. I could have just order the size 8 but if it did stretch like the 7.5 has then they may have ended up being too big even though the comfort would have been right away. The look of the sandal is very cute and works well with a sundress or or shorts. All and all I'm am happy with the price and the sandal.

Amazing sandal, definitely go up 1/2 a size!

I ordered a half size up as i have two pairs of Sorel boots already (very pleased with the quality so thats why I bought the sandals) and had to size up in one pair (the others are just right but I won’t be able to wear thick socks). These sandals are GREAT! They fit perfectly and are very comfortable right out of the box. The Velvet Tan color is amazing. The straps on the lighter colors remind me of an ace bandage so I avoided them. I would definitely recommend going up a half size though (there’s a stiff leather part in back that I could see definitely tearing up your ankles if they were tight). They can be dressed up or down. I may purchase more colors soon!

Did not pass walk test

I see some saying these passed the walk test... but for me, they did not pass a day at Disney walk test. Very cute and stylish however! I'd give them 3.5 if it was possible as you can match them with everything, and they were brand new so the backs proved to be stiff and may have just not been broken in (rubbed the heel). True to size.

I wore these and a pair of tennis shoes for the majority of our two week trip in Italy and greece. They are very comfortable right off the bat as I failed to break them in prior to our trip but worked out fine! There is not a ton of support if that is needed but sturdy soles and very grippy bottoms. They handled an unexpected hike to Skaros rock in Santorini just fine in addition to our 25,000 step days! Would recommend! They are very cute along with being comfortable and practical!!
