Comfort, style AND function!
These boots are fantastic, straight of the box comfort as promised! I have somewhat wide feet, plus the joint on my big-toe is fused so it’s important that my shoe be a zero-drop to keep pressure evenly distributed across my foot, further, it can be hard to get my foot into a boot since my toe doesn’t bend so it’s really a challenge to find cute boots that tick all the boxes but these do! They zip down low enough to provide ample room to wedge my foot in, they are not ridiculously narrow, nor are they too heavy. They’re super comfortable for all day, all-terrain walking while still being really stylish and waterproof as well - I totally love them and absolutely recommend!

Favorite boot
This boot is my favorite fall through spring footwear. They look great with pretty much everything, are durable, waterproof, decently warm, and very comfortable. I walk a lot of miles in them. Had the previous version, which I also loved. Will probably keep buying the new version when my old ones wear out as long as they keep making them and they stay comfortable.

I bought these in grey and loved them, but they were too small. Of course they didn’t have my size in grey so I decided to get the black. The black ones were so stiff they hurt my shins when I walked. So disappointing because the grey ones didn’t do that. Sending them back.

Great Quality and Extremely Comfortable
I love these boots! I waited to write the review until I had worn them to work for at least 6 months. Very comfortable and they are waterproof. I walk construction sites and the terrain can be harsh. A lot of base rock. The decorative leather strip on the heel of one has started to come up, but this is due to the rock. I don’t feel like this would be an issue for most people. Plus, it doesn’t affect the integrity of the boots nor does it bother me. They also clean up well. I have them in black too! The boots are super cute with leggings too. When this pair wears out I will buy them again. When looking at the pics keep in mind that I wear them in an harsh environment almost daily. :) All of my Sorel footwear has been great!

Comfortable and cute!
I love Sorel and have been looking for a new boot in black for a long time and this boot is the one!I have long, narrow feet and skinny ankles so finding a boot to fit and still be cute can be tricky. The emelie III is narrow enough that I can wear it with normal thickness socks and still walk around comfortable. I will note that a half size up would have been ideal but that resulted in the heel slipping and for that reason I gave it 4 stars otherwise it would have easily received 5. Even with the smaller size,I can still wear it all day and not experience any discomfort.I ordered these boots in the black which is the waterproof leather and closer to a suede finish than the shiny leather you sometimes see which I prefer. They are soft and durable. The zipper is sturdy but not clunky or chunky. The toe is a rounded shape and does not squish. The shaft falls slightly above the ankle bone and pairs well with skinny jeans.I would recommend these!

Not sure how to feel
I had to return these more than once to find the right size. I normally wear a 7.5, but sometimes will go up a half size to accommodate bigger socks for the winter (I love cozy socks). The 8's were WAY too big for me, so I sized down to 7.5, and even with thick socks and extra insoles they felt really loose. So I returned for a 7 and now they feel too tight. It seems like the sizing is off! My feet hurt when I wear them, they are not comfy at all. Not sure if I can return them again, but not too happy with the purchase, especially for the price!
