Great boots for hiking and daily wear!
I purchased these Sorel hiking boots leading up to our family vacation in Montana where we were doing some hiking and such. I was looking for something neutral in color and lightweight. I was very pleased with the boots. They were very comfortable during the hikes. We hiked to the "M" in Missoula and my feet felt supported and didn't hurt at all at the end. They really fit my average width feet well and didn't rub in any weird spots and on the rocky trails they gripped very well! I did wear wool socks with them, and my feet did not get too hot, which is good. Since our multiple hikes and coming home, I have worn them a few times. They are comfy enough to wear in the yard and such. Overall I'm quite please with the quality and the value for the money spent. I would definitely buy again.

Great, comfortable, well made, stylish boot!
I have purchase several pairs of Sorel boots in the past and have never been disappointed! These are my favorites so far. I am wearing a thick sock, and I have a narrow foot. These boots run narrow! Length wise, they are true to size. With my thick socks, I am looking for a small amount of leather stretch and that is fine. I bought a size 9, and that is my normal size. With regular thickness socks, these boots fit my narrow foot well. I plan to wear these boots with everything on my upcoming trip to Europe. They are waterproof and lightweight enough for daily walks and hikes. Stylish enough to wear with long skirts when paired with cute socks!

Waterproof and Cushioned
i got these to walk dogs in all weather. giving 4 stars b/c something is off with the fit and i can't quite figure it out. i think once they break in it won't be as noticeable but something is wonky. the midsole is very supportive and well cushioned and that is almost enticing enough to buy a 2nd pair in umber. the out sole has enough traction on pavement and dirt. the right boot has a tongue issue where it won't quite lay flat but hoping that also resolves in time. not a fan of the laces - which are a rounded thick lace but not durable b/c they're nylon. they came untied 4x in a 50 minute dog walk. i already replaced the laces with brown waxed from the UK. already got a compliment wearing them to work today and no sore knees or feet. we'll see how these hold up but am stoked about the purchase price and quality.

Best hiking boots!
I was so happy when I found this hiking boots. Not only are they comfortable but they are CUTE!! I hiked through mud and streams and up very slippery mountain sides, all without complaining about my feet.The only downfall to these amazing boots would be the waterproof situation. Yes, the material is waterproof. However, when walking through creeks and going just a bit deeper into the water, the water gets in through the spot where the tongue portion is. Not a big deal for those just hiking but going through a cave and not knowing there would be some watery spots lead for a surprise. Overall, so comfy and cute that I would still buy these all over again.

No Break in Time Needed
I got these boots last minute for a June Iceland trip that involved hiking for a wedding. These boots did not need any breaking in at all. All the Sorel boots (hiking, snow, wedge, etc) have not needed any break in time and are incredibly comfortable from the first wear due to their high quality. They aren't noticeably heavy so I was fine putting them in my checked luggage.They scuff easily so if you have time get a spray for that if it would bother you.The shoes provided good support hiking to an Icelandic waterfall, but have also been good for wear around the city when a lot of walking has been involved. Always recommend Sorel, but absolutely recommend these hiking boots with a bit of style.
