Feels good on my foot
I am almost 60 yr old and petite. This shoe is stable and cute and comfortable. I anticipate getting lots of wear out of it, year-round. The shoe is not a light-weight shoe, but it is not too heavy either. It looks like quality and feels like quality. I ordered 5.5 and it is true to size. If you have a wide or chonky foot, you would definitely want to order a wide- if they have that size, because the strap across the toes is snug (but soft, forgiving leather). I plan on wearing this with rompers, jumpsuits, dressy work pants and jeans. I love these.

These Sorel sandals are perfect and true to size, I normally wear a 9. I ordered a 9 and a half at first as I generally do in a sandal but they were too long. The 9 fit perfectly. I walked all over my house with these, they remained very comfortable. I felt very confident in these shoes. I am eight months out from major foot surgery (ten screws) and I had no pain or discomfort while wearing these. Material in black shoe is not leather but rubber, however, this is why this style is comfortable. These sandals will be great for travel as well as any time I go out. I plan on ordering another pair as these will be my go to this spring and summer. I highly recommend these sandals.

This review is based on wearing in the house for fit. Not lightweight for an all-day event but great for going out at night and versatile for wear with ankle pants, shorts, denim skirt, etc. Wear to any outdoor event.Perfect platform gives me 2 5/8-in extra height with a 1 1/4-in platform. (That is net 1 3/8-in heel height.)Sizing is spot-on if you know your European size. I wear a US9 b/c in closed toe shoes and sneakers knowing I have a long second toe that likes room; that doesn't always apply with sandals so I never whether to go up or down. I wear a 39 Birkenstock so bought this sandal in US8 and it fits perfectly. For this I am saying sizing "runs large."Leather is buttery and sole is solid.I am 56 and these meet my requirement of stability to traverse multi-terrain when needed, stay under my 1 1/2-in heel max, and have style for going out at night.
