I think the water resistance is so useful even if doesn’t rain much. I like the free bonus to keep my stuff effortlessly clean. Adding comfort in a wedge or lifted format is my DREAM! As a short girl, I’m always looking for a stylish boost. With this particular sneaker-ish style, you can expect them to have a slightly wider profile. Excellent for travel
Waterproof and good looking sneakers proved hard to find when I was planning a trip to Scotland. These fit the bill, and will also be a great addition for living in Florida. They are surprisingly lightweight and didn't add a ton of bulk to my luggage, they are also really sturdy which was great for the uneven streets. My only complaint is they weren't super comfortable to be in all day and I had to keep tightening the shoelaces to keep my foot from sliding in the shoe. Otherwise a great show, and I'll definitely buy a replacement when these wear out. Also they still look as good as they did when I took them out of the box, it was really easy to get any dirt or mud cleaned off.

Cute, but uncomfortable.
These were so cute and I loved the fact that they were waterproof, but I had to return them because they had zero support (for someone like me with high arches) and rubbed blisters on my heels. They felt like great quality, but I couldn’t wear them.

Worst shoe I have ever encountered
I couldn't hate these shoes more. Positives (in case you don't believe me): They fit true to size. They are waterproof as described.Reality: They are the most uncomfortable shoes ever. Sole feels like a combination of concrete and cardboard. The canvas outer is equally uncomfortable. There is not once ounce of comfortable material included in the fabrication. There is zero warm and no room to wear a thicker sock for warmth either.The ultimate irritation is the fact that the bottom is smooth. There is absolutely no traction which makes no sense for Winter conditions. I am certain whoever designed these shoes, did it from a beach chair because they haven't spent one minute in ice or snow. I would only recommend these shoes if you enjoy spending your Winter slipping and falling on your butt while wearing the most uncomfortable shoes ever.

So glad I found another pair of these Sorel shoes. I had a pair from 2 years ago that I wore almost every day. This design is a little better than the ones I had. They're very comfortable and have good arch support. The thing I love about them is the waterproof feature which is great when it rains, my feet never got wet! The only thing is they're rubbing the back of my ankle but I can get a pad for that but these are great!UPDATE: Bought these shoes March 2023 and I have barely worn them. Why? you ask.... this shoe is not the same shoe I bought in 2021 from REI. It claims to be but this one is completely different. It's not comfortable, it hurts my feet because of the crazy sole slopes up. That slope forces my toes to the front of the shoe along with rubbing my ankle. I bought a pad insert to prevent that from happening but it's not working. I wish they didn't change from the original design because these are horrible. I bought them on Amazon because they were on sale but it was waste of my money.

Great shoes could use some improvements.
They are a little stiff at first takes a bit to break them in and they definitely need a cushion insole but they are very durable and waterproof which is what I needed. I just wish the interior was more cushioned.
