Actually waterproof and comfy
I bought these for two trips, Ireland and Sweden. In Ireland, it rained every other day and in Sweden it rained 90% of the time. Usually, I would try to step around shallow puddles but inadvertently I would step in one or two. My feet were never wet. The shoes fit my normal size. They were fashionable (I don’t want to scream “I’m a tourist”). They look like sweater material. I waited to write the review until I had tested them out. I had a couple days of steady rain with no wetness. The rest of the time it was drizzle but still, dry. Very happy with this purchase, great travel shoes for rainy environments. Thank you

Comfy!
Comfortable AND cute shoes can be hard for me to find after two knee surgeries… Since I’ve had great experiences with two other pairs of Sorels trying another pair seemed to be a no-brainer.These are super comfy right out of the box and easy to keep looking fresh with Grandma’s Super Sneaker Cleaner. The only very small drawback is that they seem to make a bit of a crinkling noise when walking, I’ve only noticed it when in a very quiet office or at home. Since this is likely due to the waterproofing layer it’s something I can absolutely live with. Hopefully it goes away after fully breaking them in but even if it doesn’t, I’m not worried about it.

Seems to be a great shoe
Writing this after wearing it on 4 walks, one in the rain. My feet didn't get wet! We live in the PNW which is why I wanted a waterproof tennis shoe. It looks like a nice Nike but the quality is superior. I like the style and the laces. I got an 8.5 which I wear a 9 in a Nike. I'm hoping it's a shoe that wears well for a year. I may get 1 more pair incase they stop making them.

Good for a knit-type waterproof shoe
If you are looking for light(ish), waterproof casual sneakers, this is it. There are not a lot of waterproof casual sneakers out that there that are not rugged-looking/hiking shoes. The one competitor (as of this writing) is Vessi Footwear (Canadian brand) but boy, they run tight and not as stretchable as this shoe.I still prefer Allbirds as the material stretches which makes it very shoe-friendly to wide feet like mine. However, Allbirds is not waterproof, not yet anyway. In the meantime, for an all-around, travel, walking, casual, non-workout sneakers, this will absolutely do. I think in a pinch, I can workout in these as well but not for an everyday workout. Those are best left for workout shoes that offer better rigidity and support. On ballet flats, I wear 6W. For hikers, I wear Merrells 6.5W and workout shoes I wear Saucony 6-6.5W. This brand does not have wide widths so I had to size up to 7M for my toebox to feel some semblance of comfort. I had to do the same for Allbirds and sized up to 7M. I also loosened the straps to allow for more lateral stretch.I got the chance to wear it on a rainy day in the Bay Area and the shoes kept my socks dry. As far as walking, it was comfortable enough that I did not think about the shoes at all. And I noticed that the treading provided enough traction to prevent slippage, which I tried by purposely walking on Embarcadero's Promenade ribbon - the surfaces made of glass. I did not have problems walking on them while wet although to be honest, I was careful during my walk.Overall, I am happy with this shoe. It's nice to have an alternative to rubber boots, ankle boots and hiking shoes when it's pouring out. It's features make it a good all-around travel shoe as well. I recommend this shoe.

Waterproof sneakers eliminates need for 2 pairs of shoes
Having waterproof sneakers eliminates a pair of shoes when flying. On our trip this year, I had a waterproof pair of shoes and sneakers. When space is a premium, I can pack one less pair of 'bulkier' shoes. The shoes fit to size with not pinching toes. The style is fashionable, dove is neutral and goes with lots of colors and doesn't scream sneakers as we travel internationally. I'm thrilled that I found these and they are so comfortable!

Size down
I tried not to get caught up with the look of this shoe. It definitely is more fashionable looking than the typical waterproof athletic looking shoe. With that being said, I did buy a half size smaller as suggested. I normally wear a 7.5 narrow. The 7 was just fine , even the width was good for my narrow foot. I did remove the insole & replaced it with an orthotic. The sole of this shoe is much thinner than a true walking shoe. Even with my orthotic , I could feel the balls of my feet getting sore from pressure as I walked. If you have 68 yr old feet with no fat pads, these are not for you. They are probably fine for younger feet with plenty of fat pad protection. I bought these to wear on an upcoming trip to Alaska, where I need waterproof shoes. I will keep these shoes as I live in Florida & these are perfect for summer rainy day activities to keep my feet dry. I am still going to look for other true walking shoes that are waterproof.

Comfy, fits well, goes with leggings
Like walking on pillows. Haven't determined if they are truly waterproof, but hoping they don't disappoint! Very cute with leggings, and a different brand than what everyone else is wearing. Exactly what I've been looking for! I tend to be between an 8.5 and 9, got the 8.5 and they are comfy. I imagine they will form to my feet soon too. Get em!
