LOVE THESE BOOTS!

I was wanting a pair of winter boots for mainly walking my dog in cold or cold wet weather in the winter and fall.I wanted a pair that was comfortable for long walks, sporty, warm, waterproof, good arch support, versatile for leggings and jeans and good traction on slippery surfaces and yet cute.I received them yesterday and took my girl on a 30 minute walk this morning in 26 degree temps and they were so comfortable and my feet were nice and warm but not hot, just perfect. As you can see in the video there’s a bit of water drops on them showing that they are indeed water proof as advertised.I had looked at many boots online and in stores and actually found these exact boots at a local store in my size that were $50 higher.I wear a 7.5. I tried on a 7, 7.5 and an 8 to see which fit best with just normal winter socks {not thick}. And the 7.5 fit perfect but snug which is fine for me since I didn’t want them slipping around. If you’re wanting to wear thick winter socks I’d recommend sizing up a 1/2 to a full size depending on your comfort level of snugness. So glad I ordered these, they are so cute and fit every need that I was wanting. Will definitely recommend and buy again!

Well made Winter boots

Supports my 6.5 narrow feet, not loose, the shoe laces secure ankles comfortably ,wore with merino wool socks, made it easier shovel snow, not tight, did not need to size up, true to size for my feet, comfy right out of the box, insulated andwarm, made well, sturdy supportive foot bed, good heel hight. I hopeto have many years like the Naturalizer that lasted 20+ years. Plan to get plenty of wear this Winter in snow, rain, need this foot gear, Sorel is worth the price. :)

Sorel Excellent Quality

The Best Winter Boots On The Market! If I could give these boots 10 stars I would. I have had them for ten years and they are still like new. They are the only winter boots I’ve ever worn that actually keep your feet warm even below zero degrees. I have owned just about every winter boots there are in countless brands. None of them can even compare to the superb quality of Sorel. They are extremely comfortable, warm, and fit perfectly. I wear size 7 but like to order in 7.5 to allow room for thick socks. The extra money you pay for these boots are well worth every penny. They actually save you lots of money in the long run because you never have to buy another pair. Like I said, I’ve owned mine for ten years and wear them 9 months each year and their still as good as new. Thank you Sorel for your excellent Quality and comfort. Order these and you will be glad you did.

Very odd sizing, very warm but very odd fit

I ended up having to return this pair (bought 2 sizes up) for a pair 3.5 sizes up. I have narrow feet, high arches, my second toe is slightly longer than my big toe, slender ankles, minimal calves, and my shoe size universally is like a 7.5 W. I bought a 9.5 and it was way too short and my toes felt crammed. When I got an even bigger size I kept them. These are incredibly warm and so far waterproof (up to where the gap on the sides of the front tongue cover are). I ended up getting the higher calf high version too. They don't have much arch support and the part that cups around the back of your heal feels like stiff but weak cardboard (as in, you do NOT want to cram your foot in and crease it because that crease will be permanent!) and I can see how this could cause rubs if you can't get them snug and fitted correctly for your foot.I have been wearing these a lot in the past month. The sole grips well, my feet are actually warm, and no blisters or rubs, but it does take some effort to lace these up correctly and snuggly- they want to tighten at the lowest end closest to the toe and then just at top when you pull the laces- you have to get the laces snug in the center to secure your foot well. There is a weird circular thing I can feel under the center of the sole close to the arch that feels like a raised logo like 3-4cm in size, I eventually got used to it, but it's a bad flaw and insoles can mask it but there's no reason for it to be there (it was instantly felt in all 3 pairs I bought).I grew up (child of the 80s/90s) and my mom had an old pair of slip on Sorel boots that had those old worn felt inserts and they were such good boots, huge on me but I never failed to steal them when I played outside in the winter. As with almost everything else, companies change, product quality shifts, and I don't know that these will last 40+ years like those did, but if you have a narrow foot, buy much bigger than you need and can get these snug for you, they are warm and comfortable. I wear them to walk/hike with my dog many miles at a time.

Total fluke shipment. Such a bummer!

Let me start off by saying that I have some big ol' feet. For Sorels to fit with socks, I need to wear a size 12. I was super excited about these boots because they're not big and clunky like my "monster Sorel winter boots" and they will be more comfortable for traveling, commuting, etc. And then I can leave the big stompers at home for snow removal and so forth. I finally got these in and I was excited to try them on and they were SNUG. Like super snug. They run VERY narrow too - but the foot length is what seemed too small for me. I could definitely wear them without socks - but who doesn't wear socks in the winter inside their boots? So I was really sad about it. Checked the box - it says size 12. And then I checked the boots and both boots are size 11! I could keep these and make them work without socks - but I just can't fathom that personally. I'm wearing these for warmth, and they are warm, but socks are a winter must for me. So unfortunately they're going to be returned. Totally a fluke thing to happen. They don't appear to be worn. Tags still on, the bottoms don't show outside wear or anything. No one's fault. It is a bummer because they are comfy and super cute.

No traction at all.

Cute and warm but they have no traction whatsoever. If there is absolutely no snow on the ground they’re great. Otherwise, skip out on these.
