These sneakers are the best. I've worn on clouds, Hokas, New Balance, Adidas, Brooks and more. A lot of those are comfortable, for sure. But these Sorels are amazing. They fit my feet perfectly. They feel solid, but aren't heavy. They style is classic - not out of date and not over-the-top trendy. I have a pretty normal arch, so the support seems just fine to me. I love them!
I love the style and really wanted it to work. However, they were a little tight across the top of my foot.
I'm very picky about my shoes, so I was pleasantly surprised that this pair of sneakers nearly worked 100%.My feet are slightly wide, so I usually get 7.5B if I cannot find a wide width style. These sneakers in 7.5B, gave me plenty of room to move around in the toe area and just to the side of the big toe and small toe. The entire footbed is extremely comfortable. Sorel makes good shoes, and this is no exception. I cannot be 100% sure, but the black uppers do seem to be leather. Nothing smells like funky plastic and awful glue on these shoes. I did not have to air them before trying them on, and they came well packaged, and clean.There's only one issue for me. When I tie the laces tightly, the tongue of the shoe goes very high on the upper part of my foot. It hits the crease where my foot bends, and is a bit uncomfortable when it hits the skin there. In one of the pictures, I have tied knots on each side of the laces, and pulled the lip up to give me more room. I hope it works and that this is just a matter of wearing the sneakers in, even though in the footbed, it is so comfortable that it needs no breaking in.My husband suggests that I wear socks with the sneakers, but I am the type of person who likes to go without the tube style socks. I'm not a runner, but someone who likes to walk, and the most that I wear are the no-show socks, which will not help in this situation. I will not take off any stars because this may just be an issue with the shape of my feet. Someone else may not have an issue.Regardless, these are a fantastic pair of shoes. The black is very attractive, and for Northeastern winters, these will work with winter clothes.
These Sorel Cyprus leather sneakers are so cute. I chose the pearlescent/gum color.. it’s a light blush/pink in person. SO in love with this color!! I have quite a few bubblegum pink articles of clothing that these will go perfectly with.The sneaker has a rubber sole and a full leather body. Haven’t tested out yet in the rain, but I do expect them to be waterproof with all the closed seams and waterproof materials. The sole is very durable and will also keep you from slipping in wet conditions.I normally wear a size 6.5.. but I decided to go half size up in these incase I want to wear thicker walking socks and also wanted to make sure my big toe doesn’t feel squished with the lower toe box. I honestly think these run a half size LARGE.. so I kind of wished I had ordered my usual size. OOPS 🙊 I will still be able to wear and enjoy them.. just an FYI for anyone curious about the sizing!Overall, these shoes are very comfortable right out of the box. Not too heavy, but also enough weight to make them feel durable and high quality.LOVE them!!!
These Sorel shoes are comfortable! The cushion at the footbed is just right where it’s not so squishy that it’ll break down quickly, but it’s not a hard footbed by any means. Comfortable to wear, and no stiff parts that give me blisters or create friction on my skin. They go with just about everything I wear. I don’t know how this material will hold up to years of wear, but so far so good. I took some pics of the top and bottom before I wore them the first time so you can see the tread shape and shape of the toe box so you can see if you think it’ll fit your foot shape. This is not a wide toe box type of shoe, but I’m not pinched by them. For reference, my feet are an average width and a size 8.5.
I'm completely smitten with my Sorel Women's Cyprus LX Sneakers. From the moment I slipped them on, I knew they were something special. The only reason I wouldn't wear these shoes to a fancy dinner party is that they're just too casual, but for everyday activities, they're perfect.I'll be wearing these shoes for a while to see how they hold up over time. I'll come back and update this review in a few months to let you know how durable they are and whether they continue to meet my expectations. For now, I'm thoroughly enjoying them. If you're in the market for a comfortable and practical shoe, these might be a great choice.
i ordered these shoes to wear when i go out with friends. They are super comfortable and match all my outfits. They are high quality and made from real leather. They fit so well and are true to size. I appreciate their functionality. Definitely would recommend to others!
