Thanks Sorel for the Small Size!
Bought these for my 18 mos. old grandaughter after searching every store within 50 miles of our home for a pair of warm winter snow boots for her small feet. Couldn't find any snow boots smaller than a size 5, (even in stores carrying kids Sorel boots) and her shoe size was actually a 3.5. The size 4's are working great. They took a little getting used to for her, because they are a true Sorel, made just like their adult boots, and a bit clunky for small feet and short legs, but with a little indoor practice she is now walking fine outside on snowy paths and up and down inclines. They are very easy to get on and off tiny feet, and with snow pants over the top there is no way snow can get into them. A combination of these boots and Smartwool socks is keeping her tiny feet warm and dry. These aren't run around town- in and out of the carseat boots for an 18 mos old, probably would be fine for this for older children, but for a young toddler's outdoor snow play they're great. Thank you Sorel for making this boot in the smaller size. I received them in Alaska within a week with Supersaver Shipping.

Great buy!
I love Sorel and have a good idea of their sizing, so these fit as expected - I'm between a 5-6 women's depending on shoe type; I generally buy a 6 in Sorel womens and these big kids size 5 fit well, maybe a little big but plenty of room for thick/layered socks which is what I wanted. They feel well insulated. I'm a short adult woman (4'11") so the height of the kids boot works well for me. I like the pop of color with the purple boot shaft but the black foot will match my black winter jacket. They are a bit bulky on the fit but they're winter boots so to be expected. Just received them so can't speak to longevity or comfort during extended wear but knowing Sorel I'm sure they'll be warm, comfortable & fashionable during our New England winters.

Terrific toddler boot
My son has wide feet with a high arch and finding boots that were easy enough for him to put on with help, let alone by himself (he's 3) was proving to be a real frustration. I knew Sorels were a high quality boot so gave these a shot based on the wide opening and simple Velcro closure. I am completely pleased with them! My son easily takes them on and off by himself (they can open really wide, out across the bridge of his foot), they are warm, waterproof (up to the ankles), and durable. This has been a mild winter so far in MI, allowing for lengthy outdoor play, but he has always come in with warm and dry feet. Rinsing mud, salt, and slush off is a snap & doesn't soak the boot. Worth the $$ if your kid loves winter outdoor play!

Fantastic Fit & Comfortable!
These are The Most Comfortable boots I have ever owned! I am a (ladies size 5-5.5 or) Kids Size 4. The front lace up closure is perfit to have a boot that doesn't feel like it slips, when walking. Padding & insulation is GREAT for our sub zero chill factor in WI. Nice for hiking with our dog, as well!

Quality made, adorable winter boots!
These are quality made kids boots, the interior is extremely soft and the outer material is tough to keep the cold out. We ultimately did not keep these, but we tried them on for size and they fit perfectly. The boots we ended up going with were about 2 inches higher, and for Michigan snow I was worried about snow creeping into the top and opted for the taller boot. But if you encounter light snow, these boots really are SUPER CUTE and very well made.
