Exquisite workmanship

To be frankly honest with you I do not know why there are so many bad reviews. These boots Are Beautiful. The color is accurate and the craftsmanship is excellent. The only thing I would do is add cushioning to the bottom and some non-skid to the ball of the foot area to keep from sliding. The pattern is beautiful so maybe people just got bad orders. I have to leave them out to air them out because you can smell the leather. Even higher price boots that I purchase in the past smell the same way but to know the craftsmanship is not as good with my top brass Durangos.You we'll need to size down for the proper fit if you are at a normal way and your feet aren't wide or sizable due to being slightly overweight. However if you are of normal size and you want a more snug fit not want to wear extra socks you will have to size a whole size down.

Wow! Nice boot!

This boot is everything I hoped for.. and more. The color is beautifully different from all the other brown boots out there. Fit was dead on and man, they are comfortable right out of the box! The leather is thick enough, but very soft and the construction looks second to none.I was a little concerned about the print looking phony, but it's so good that I'd call it artificial alligator! You'd have to get pretty close to tell it from the real thing. I always liked reptiles (seriously!) and I am pleased no crocodilian was harmed in the production of this beautiful boot! LOL!Update..the boots are super comfortable after 10 months in. My local shoe repair guy put new heel guards on and said they look so close to real gator that he couldn't tell at first glance. They do scuff rather easily, but nothing that an appropriately colored polish doesn't remedy. You want compliments? Buy these!

Quality appears to be good. I haven't taken them out of the house yet but the finish is good for the price. I normally wear a size 9 and ordered these the same. They're a little roomy but not enough that I would send them back. If I were in a brick and mortar store I might have walked out with an 8.5. The appearance is exactly what I was looking for.
