Doesn't take long for these to wear in, took them on a few walks through a nearby park. Nice boots, I wish there was just a little better grip on the heel but these aren't exactly hiking-wear.Very comfortable on my feet after breaking in the arch, and I've already gotten a few compliments on them.The overall feeling of walking in them is the reason I give this 5 stars, though. I have a prostedic leg an never could wear boots.. since it has a zipper I can where boots again.. the only down fall is there is no traction on the bottom an you slip around like you walking on ice... Other than that the boots are nice an you will have to wear an insole cause the boot is loose an wide.. I ordered a 10.50 regular an they come a little wide so I put in a insole an that helped...

The thin leather insole was rolled up inside the bottom of the boot, and it got glue all over. Size was a bit on the large size. Boots took almost no break in and were comfortable to wear once I took them to the repair shop and had the insole replaced.
